About the Business
Heather Glen Court is a low barrier shelter and wraparound case management program located at 25028 Heatherglen Court in Veneta, Oregon. This institution is part of the First Place Annex, which provides support for families experiencing homelessness in Lane County. The Annex includes The Night Shelter, First Place Family Center, and First Place Kids.
One way to support First Place Kids is by donating to help build a new playground at the Annex. Infants and children living in cars or car seats may experience delays in development, so providing them with safe and consistent opportunities to play outdoors is crucial. Your support can help children build pre-literacy skills, focus, and emotional regulation.
You can also get involved by joining the charity team for the upcoming Eugene Marathon and raise money for St. Vincent de Paul as you run. St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County has been providing social services for 70 years, serving 35,000 people annually. They offer affordable housing, shelters, employment opportunities, and programs to foster long-term stability.
Donations from the community help support those in need and raise funds for charitable programs. St. Vincent de Paul accepts a wide variety of donations, including clothing, household items, appliances, and electronics. There are also volunteer opportunities available for those looking to make a difference.
St. Vincent de Paul focuses on helping people find a path out of poverty and reach self-sufficiency. Cascade Alliance helps nonprofits generate revenue and create jobs from discarded items, benefiting the community economically and environmentally.
Whether you shop at St. Vinnie's thrift stores or volunteer your time, you are contributing to the mission of helping individuals, children, and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Thank you for your support and willingness to make a positive impact in the community.

"This property is a wonderful place to live and the homes are very nice but SVDP is a terrible two-faced entity. They WILL overcharge you at move out and do not expect to get your deposit back - expect them to ruin your rental credit and make all sorts of illegimate claims about the damages done to their rentals. They are greedy, the management office is unkind and THEY DO not accommodate to the disabled - at all."
"Nice design of the complex. You can tell that it's well maintained and managed. Nice layout for the unit with good appliances. Everything seems well thought out."
"The Apartments are good sized, each with ur own back patio. The on-site Manager is such an amazing person and truly cares for the tenants at Heather Glen Apartments, and is always working hard to keep the appearance/landscaping looking great! All n all its a great community type atmosphere."
