"would give 0 stars if I could after reading how most reviews are 1 star and people having similar problems makes me not feel better in a sense because we’re all college students at the end of the day but gives me reassurance I’m not alone with my difficulties but If you’re thinking on wanting to live at a place that’s very responsive and helpful with management this is the right place for you right before signing your lease ! After that lease signed? all that goes away they only care about money the worst place ever I’ve signed to with there horrible communication and not helpful whatsoever with any problems. They will give you outrageous chargers in your balances that you don’t owe they will lack to answer both your calls , and emails when it doesn’t benefit them or doesn’t profit money as well as threatening to send you to collections when they never do because they want you to keep paying until the very end learning now that they’re a big corporate company makes sense but is upsetting knowing they’re taking advantage of young adults , and will make it difficult to even break a lease which you would think any place to profit money would want but nope they want to just keep eating your money until the year lease is over , it is also the most difficult thing to talk to the general manager saying they’re unavailable or out the office but then the assistant manager will put you on hold to ask the general manager after saying they’re out and when they do respond to your questions and say they will fix it they won’t until you repeatedly have to remind them , now seeing there automatic robotic replies to everyone response difficulties is a joke as there business."
"I’ve had a water leak in my ceiling and down my wall. Their fix was to cut holes in my ceiling and wall. 2 months later nothing has been fixed, so I call again, and the Agent tells me that he will call me back in a couple hours. 3 hours go by, so I take the initiative and call them back and get a different agent. They finally decide to send maintenance and the only thing they do is give me a bucket for the dripping water. I now listen to water dripping all night long, it’s like torture. Never get an apartment here, they are just a corporation that view you as another dollar sign. Their goal above all else is to turn a profit. It appears that they care little about residents. You can get nicer apartments for cheaper, whose management actually cares about you at many other places in Corvallis."
"I preferably would leave zero stars. NO response from anyone even after multiple requests for a response from management. Outrageous charges over things from previous tenants that were never addressed in the beginning, after multiple requests. No final walk through even after request. And now threats of being sent to collections after at least 5 months of management having photos of our refute of charges. Seems like that is more than enough time, since they gave us a 30 day notice and we were able to abide by that time frame. My daughter now lives 3 hours away and she drove back to Corvallis twice to deal with this because no one would answer the phone. She is a very responsible young adult, mortified at the thought of collections. The drive got no response from management either as they were in a meeting both times and could not meet at all those days. I could go on but now I am still wasting my time and yours. The most unprofessional large business that I have had experience with. We have toyed with paying to avoid collections but knowing what we know about how they do business, we would never see a refund that we would be due."
"No one ever answers emails or the phone. The staff is not helpful. My daughter was given a parking permit and hasn’t been able to park in the spot yet. There are actually 2 spots with the same number. The tenants were told after passes were given out cars would be towed if they were in permitted spots, but my daughter was told by the staff it was up to her to call to have a car towed and the desk people including assistant manager were extremely rude to her. Not to mention when she moved in the apartment was not clean. Not a good start less than one month in. I have sent several emails and called multiple times. No one has answered direct emails or ever answers the phone. Not sure how you should get in contact with me and I don’t feel comfortable adding either my daughters name or our personal Information onto this post. Update 11/16/23. My daughter and her roommates decided to renew their lease. They did it before 11/15 deadline to insure their rent would be at a price on an email renewal they received. Today they now received a text message that they are not tier 1, but 2 and their price was going up $10 per month and they wouldn’t be guaranteed their apartment. I sent an email to the manager asking for a call. This is ridiculous. Follow the emails and do things on time and the desk people say oh well."
"I know that the Domain doesn't have the best track record right now, but I think the new staff has done a good job at picking up all of the slack that they were left with. My daughter has been a tenant at the Domain for about two years now, and has had nothing but positive experiences. With a fully new staff, as well as being short staffed I can only imagine the amount of work they're having to put in to keep things afloat. Regardless, our experience with the Domain has been overall positive. Granted we would ALL love lower rental rates, that's just not going to happen in this economic climate. I'm leaving 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. We all know there are areas this property could improve, but have a little compassion. These are still people trying to make sure that all of their people are happy and taken care of to the best of their ability. The times I have interacted with the new staff have been positive and helpful. The only issues I have run into is that they need to put you on hold to make sure the info they're giving you is accurate, which I don't think is anything to necessarily complain about."
