"We stayed at Sunset Shores with several families. The house was beautiful and bright, the space was well-decorated, and the kitchen was well-equipped. There were great individual spaces, as well as perfect gathering places. The outdoor shower to wash off sand was a nice bonus. Pacific City is a fun place to vacation, and we made some great memories. From playing in the water and dunes to relaxing with evening beach bonfires, there was always something fun to do. Afterwards, the house provided a great place to relax and chill. Highly recommend!"

"The Sunset Shores House was a perfect place to have our large family gathering. The moment you walk into the home, a feeling of fun, comfort and coziness greets you. The home was very clean and well-furnished. There is a large game room on the ground level that kept the kid cousins busy and having a good time playing games and watching football. Most of the bedrooms were good sizes and on a separate level away from the busier family living areas. They were beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. We loved the little cupola nook area on top of the house...the views were amazing and it was a secret space the kids loved to play in. The house is perfectly situated across the street from beach access and right next to the bay...the beach was just a couple of minutes away by foot and a beautiful hike around the next-door state park was literally outside the back door. My husband and I enjoyed a quiet morning hike away from the busier house watching the sunrise over the bay...it was magical watching the bay come to life. We loved our time there and made some wonderful family memories that will last forever! Thanks for such a great experience!"

"I went with a couple of friends here for a girls weekend and we loved staying in this beach house! It was amazing to be right on the beach and be able to sit on the patio all day and watching the sunsets in the evening. The sunsets! The beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the rooms so well put together with beautiful furniture. The kitchen was fun to cook in with everything we needed. I will definitely be coming back."

"This house was Amazing. There was plenty of room for us and two other families and it never felt like we were crowded. I loved going up into the top lookout because the view from up there was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals and even with having 14 people there the hot water never ran out. The beach was just a short walk from the house, which made it nice to go on an early morning walk to find seashells. The sunset on the beach was picture perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone."

"My family was the first guests of a brand new 3 bed, 3.5 bath townhouse located at 36380 Brooten Mountain Rd in the SeaWatch community of Pacific City. This review is somewhat long, but I figured since the vacation rental is new and there isn’t much information out there yet that it could be beneficial to those researching places to stay. We have stayed at many properties in Pacific City, including several homes in Shorepine Village, the Headlands oceanfront lodge, the Headlands oceanfront cottages, and the Inn at Cape Kiwanda. This three-story townhouse felt the most spacious out of all of the them, with ample parking, an excellent layout for our family and high ceilings on the top floor. The bottom floor is the 2 car garage (with separate garage doors), accessed via Kingfisher Loop. There’s additional parking in front of the garage as well as a handy outdoor shower with hot water to help remove sand. The middle floor has a living area with a couch, chair, big screen tv, and a door that leads to an outdoor deck that has a table and 4 chairs. There’s also a master bedroom, a bathroom with a door in between the sinks and bathtub/toilet area, and a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds including an additional pull-out bed from one of the bunk beds. Additionally, there’s a laundry room with Whirlpool front loading washer and dryer, plenty of counter space to fold clothes, and a sink. The top floor has a very nice kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an island with stools, dining table for 8, a living area with a fireplace, big screen rotatable tv and a door that leads to the second outdoor deck that has a table, 4 chairs, and private hot tub. There’s a second master bedroom with a door leading to the same deck as well as a half bathroom on this floor. A separate entrance by the kitchen leads to a carport area that could fit two smaller or medium-sized vehicles, accessible from Brooten Mountain Rd. The outdoor grill is located right outside this entrance. Both master bedrooms in the home have an attached master bath with a separate toilet area, king size bed and big screen tvs. I suggest that those with movement restrictions stay in the top floor master bedroom and park in the carport so they can avoid all the stairs in this house. We stayed a week in August and found the upper floor to get rather warm and stuffy, so I would suggest opening windows and doors as well when possible. The house comes with all the supplies you’d need for your stay: dishes, cookware, bakeware, drinkware, saran wrap, foil, storage bags, laundry detergent, and even a cocktail shaker and water/food dishes for your dog! Everything is very modern and tastefully decorated. The townhouse is conveniently located directly across the street from the Pacific SeaWatch Clubhouse in which you get access to as part of your stay. It has a fitness center, heated indoor pool, and an outside 9 hole putting course; the kids in our group went there almost every day of our stay. The house is a couple miles from the main beach area which may be a deal-breaker to some, but to make up for that you get a breathtaking and unique view of the ocean, haystack rock, sand dunes, and the river leading to the ocean. Along with the oceanfront cottages, the townhouse is our new favorite place to stay. Your needs, preferences and budget will help steer you to the right place for your group, so I hope this review helped you."
