Jaja PDX

JaJa PDX is a unique institution located at 819 Southeast Taylor Street in Portland, Oregon. It serves as a performance art space, wood shop, ceramic studio, healing space, and a collective of creatives. The 20,000 square foot warehouse in the Central East Side Industrial sector of Portland is home to a diverse group of makers and creators who come together to share ideas, learn from each other, and build a strong community.

JaJa PDX has formed a partnership with The Haven, an artist collective, to further enhance the creative community in Portland. Together, they aim to empower artists and support sustainable arts collectives in the Pacific Northwest. The institution offers a wide range of opportunities for artists, including workshops, performances, and collaborative projects.

JaJa Circus, a part of JaJa PDX, focuses on movement arts, such as juggling, flow, and aerial acrobatics. The emphasis is on health and safety in circus arts, as well as creativity and collaboration.

JaJa Woods, another part of the institution, designs and fabricates wood products for restaurants and chefs around the world. They are also developing a community woodshop where members can bring their visions to life.

The Haven, a diverse collective within JaJa PDX, includes painters, musicians, builders, healers, licensed psychedelic therapists, and digital artists. Their painting studio doubles as a gallery, showcasing impressive works of art created by the community.
