"The visit lasted 2-3 hours... BUT WELL WORTH IT. They are a busy clinic, the only clinic in the Vancouver area. The staff and Dr Lee are very kind, professional, and they are very knowledgeable and skillful. Even though it took some time to go around to the various treatment stations, they are well organized. I appreciated all the staff, the patient education and preparing me for what was to come next They're like a well oiled machine from start to finish. The staff are so conscientious and through, it's obvious that patient safety comes first. Dr Lee did his evaluation, explained everything in advance, and gave me an injection in my right eye. Felt no pain at all. The next day, I saw significantly better. I am so glad I was referred to this clinic. I hope this helps you to make the decision to come here, you will be glad you did."
"The nearly 4 hour shuffle from one waiting room to the next and back again was unreasonable. I finally saw a doctor that suggested an injection in my arm that would give a clearer picture of the inside of my eye. I saw no gloves, saw and felt no cleaning of the injection site and the doctor missed the vain causing intense pain in my arm because the stuff injected went under my skin, not into the vain. It felt like a swarm of bees all stinging me at once in the same place. So...no clear view of the inside of my eye. By the end of this nightmare of a visit the doctor shared what MIGHT be the problem and what MAY be a good treatment plan. Once into the car, all I could do was shake and cry."
"Great service with friendly helpful staff. I had a retina problem that was fixed that day, it is an ongoing that requires treatment every 7 to 12 weeks, but my vision is perfect. Yes you will be here for 1 to 4 hours, this is a process of testing, exam, and treatment. You are told this when you make the appointment. They do not have a magic wand to fix your problem only great doctors."
"Could this be the worst-run clinic in the northwest? 3 different visits, identical experience each time: my 82-year-old father-in-law, a recent stroke victim with high blood pressure, was made to wait 3-4 hours each time before a doctor saw him. On the last visit, after waiting 4 hours, I asked them to let him leave. They refused, and magically the doctor was able to rush in to see him. When I complained, I was told that appointment cards advise there may be a 4 hour wait. How is this considered a reasonable level of service, to keep stroke victims waiting for 4 hours every single time? Avoid this place."
"Second visit to this facility and second time my 83 year old Grandfather had to wait 2 plus hours just to be seen. If you would like to feel like you have gone to the Emergency room, this is the place for you. If you would like to feel like a respected patient of an eye care facility, I would recommend going elsewhere."
