"OHSU Spine Center Jonathan Kark Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon performed a miracle. Dr. Kark is AMAZING he performed a microdisectomy on me. Prior to surgery I was in pain for two years and nine months. I have no pain and it is AWESOME. I feel like a new person all because of Dr. Kark !!!"
"Hands down the best, I was able to get in and get a foramonotomy done with no major post surgery complications and I am no longer in severe pain and have my life back. So grateful for the surgeon and the surgical team Staff was amazing as well."
"I am going to Initial apt in 2 days , so far the staff has been helpful with the pre visit online process that I got a snag while doing , but the man who answered the phone in the billing dept....... smh..... call me fickle but I don't like to call anywhere and battle with the hold recordings and brain raking music for an assanine amount of time only to have Mr. CUSTOMER SERVICE WHILE SEATED ONLY , Tell me a series of probably and maybe answers to a fairly easy question . Why am I being asked to sign a document that makes me responsible for paying several hundred dollars prior to my visit? If you don't have an answer for me to Definitely stand on , please transfer me to anyone person that can.He kept repeating to me as if I was annoying him that it was "Probably because your insurance will not cover cosmetic visits!" Nothing about my bulging disc's and numb hands and fingers is cosmetic... and why would I not want to verify the problem is resolved before going to my apt? Why is this field flooded with people that refuse to try to do a half way decent job of dealing w the public. Ugh!"
"DO NOT ATTEMPT to get back care here!!!! My husband saw Dr. Clifford Lin in October 2021 when his hands and arms were going numb and he had near constant sharp shooting pains in his neck and shoulders. The only way he can sleep is with his right arm over his head. He was told he needs surgery to correct this issue which wouldn't happen until March/April 2022. Insurance approval was given on Feb. 3 for a window of Feb. 3 to April 2. We call about getting on the schedule in this window and were told he is "on the list" and will get a call soon with the surgery date. The approval is now expired and we heard nothing. I call and am told they will call back. They don't return the call. I call again and am put on hold for 10 minutes. I'm then told our insurance just approved the claim. This is a lie as we were sent the insurance approval on Feburary 3 for the surgery to be performed between Feb. 3 and April 2. Then "Angela" tells me the doctor is booking 8 months out from NOW. Had we known my husband would literally need to wait for over a YEAR to get this needed surgery, we NEVER would have gone to see this doctor. Now we need to start over with someone else. Then she tells me that every spine surgeon in the state of Oregon will make us wait this long as this is a problem throughout Oregon. Given the lies we've already been fed I doubt this is true, and if so, we will get the surgery out of state."
"Do yourself a huge favor and get a second opinion. These guys would have done a surgery on my back I didn't need. Had to about pull teeth to get a MRI because I was told my pain was in my head and I might need a antidepressant and wanted to shove me on to physical therapy. I refused until I had a MRI and oh turns out I need surgery and my pain was all in my head!!!!! Then I see a surgeon who says they think I might need a fusion but won't know until they get in there. Really???? You think you're going to cut my back open and not know if you need to do something or not!!!! Not a chance!!!! Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion the first one from here probably isn't right!!!!!"
