"Dr. Shanley is the least proficient doctor I've ever met, and I went to medical school and have 16 years of clinical experience in healthcare (!). Despite knowing my level of education and knowledge, he still talked to me at a basic (6th grade) level of understanding. He was unable to answer my questions and unable to think outside of "standard of care" algorithms even when faced with a disease that had rare and unusual characteristics that don't adhere to textbook cases. He was unable to demonstrate an ability to think critically or see the big picture. Unless all your problems follow textbook scenarios they teach to 1st year medical students, you're better off seeing someone else. Moreover, rather than answer my questions, he would change the subject or divert to another topic. It felt very dismissive and patronizing. I would never treat my patients like this."
