"Mark V. (Dr Vanderberg) I miss you so much being my primary care for 15+ years. Please consider returning and starting your own practice. Your patients need your caring and gifted personality along with your extremely intellectual approach to the patients care. I’ll come work for you any day just return and give your old patients the care they deserve. Salem Clinic absolutely sucks without you. The care has flipped 180 degrees from the amazing care received when you were present. I have to go to UC now if I can’t afford to wait 3 weeks for the PC Dr to see me…. You would always squeeze a 15 min hole in for urgent matters but that is no more. Now it’s your a # buddy get in line…. You were and always will be the best damn Dr in Salem. "Doesn't express concern about in office medical issues..doesnt keep appts I waited 40min after my appt time and was rushed out in 5minutes..hes a smart Dr but doesn't schedual appropriate time slots."

"I have been a patient of Dr. Vanderburgh for many years. He is very nice and a fine doctor if you have no major issues. I am sad to say however, you must be proactive on your own behalf and I found that if the answer to a problem isn't obvious, he is not willing to delve deeper. You must ask for referrals and tests. Even then, he may refuse you. I left his care and went to a new provider. Within 2 visits she figured out through tests what is going on. Tests that I asked Dr. Vanderburgh to run and he refused to do so."

"I was sceptical to change Doctors but having a new one turned out to be a great experience. Dr.V is as friendly as could be and he really got me on track with prior issues my old doctor ignored. The office is gorgeous and all of the staff from the front desk to nurses to lab are very nice! Excellent treatment and I would not want to go any where else!"
