"Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience with a balloon sinuplasty that Skarada performed. I had the procedure in March 2023 and have never fully recovered. I feel some level of pain or discomfort every day. Dr Thompson at Salem ENT was able to correct some of the residual issues leftover from Skarada's care. But, I don't think I'll ever have a permanent fix. Leaving this review because I wish I had seen more honest reviews when I looked up Skarada. Update and response to Skarada: I feel like your response warrants a reply. Please keep in mind that you have bound under HIPPA not to disclose my medical history, as you have already done. I would appreciate it if you would please respect my right of medical privacy if you decide to give another response. Unfortunately this is consistent with the type of care I received at your facility. I will probably always suffer from my "mysterious condition." But, I would like people to know that a major cause of my pain was because you did not conduct the most basic post-operative care. If you had, you would have found the bands of scar tissue that formed because of and after your procedure. It was only after Dr. Thompson removed these that my headaches, nausea and dizziness got better as well as issues with my sense of smell. I still continue to feel some level of pain, that I did not experience before I went to see you. My hope is others in my situation will see my email and at least ask around before coming into your clinic."
