"Only giving 4 stars because of wait time… that being said our experience was great! In and out in about 4 hours, with X-rays and a phone consult with the pediatric orthopedic. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Even after my grandson complained about his splint a few hours later they got us right back in and Nurse Chris unwrapped and rewrapped his leg with such a great attitude and so understanding towards him. I don’t usually compliment Samaritan but maybe on the way up? Good job guys!"
"Brought my 9 year old daughter in as she was struggling to breathe and having severe stomach pains. Not only did they see an adult with an ingrown hair, another adult who complained of back pain yet walked just fine, and a lady with a UTI before my daughter was ever even called back into a room. 1.5hr wait in waiting room but another 2 hours once back in the room before the doctor even came in. There is nothing urgent about this place. We not only heard nurses and the dr talking about other patients person information in the hall as they weren’t quite about anything. When we were finally seen they ended up testing her for a UTI that came back negative of course and sent us up telling her to drink liquids. This was a 3.5hr trip for nothing we drove right across the street to the emergency room"
"The front desk help was very pleasant and engaging. When I arrived there was one person in the waiting room within 5 min it was empty, the nurse immediately proceeded to take me back and get my vitals etc. then said, Dr. will be right in......40min. later no Dr., no Nurse, no anybody...... I left. , walked past an open prep room, whole team of people in their visiting tho, the back thru the lobby again, 1 person waiting. The arrogance of the Samaritan system is pretty unbelieveable, I had one Dr. tell me after waiting 45min inside the exam room and upon challenging him for his tardiness, that "I am very busy" but he's the only one right, I am not taking time out of my busy day to be on-time ......... Samaritan treats customers like they are doing you a favor, if they weren't the only game in town, I would have moved on long ago."
"Dr. Garrard has excellent bedside manners. Reflecting on the appointment, I was in a panic, brought on by the current emergency, two years of chronic illness, unbearable pain, with limited action plans, despite my due diligence. Dr. Garrard listened to my concerns when I exasperated and upset. Thank you Dr. Garrard for just letting me show emotion in the office. It’s unfortunately something patients like myself are afraid to do, even in times of true emergency. After the visit I was able to think more clearly and continue moving forward in healing. Thank you."
"I came here after I was badly bitten by a cat. The line was huge, but that just happens sometimes at urgent care so I was prepared to wait. The front desk staff were taking such a long time to get people checked in that it was ridiculous. They were just getting checked in, not actually being taken to the back! People who had been waiting longer than me started leaving, and after watching each person at the front desk take 15 minutes to check one single person in (it may have been longer, I left after they hi the 15 min mark) with 6 people in line ahead of me I decided it was too much. I couldn't stand in line all day bleeding. I left and went to Best Med. They got me in quickly and they were very kind. If they are in network with your insurance I suggest you go there."
