"Mr. Gallup had ZERO bedside manners with me over the course of my many visits at Valley Clinics. There was no empathy from this man nor does he act in a kind nor friendly manner. I only needed a referral from him to see a kidney doctor (Just like I did in 2018 with a different Dr. and that Dr. referred me and I went straight to a kidney doctor with no tests or delays of any kind. I then had a major surgery to remove an oversized staghorn calculi) This same exact pain is here again and I am in fear everyday that it has grown back. When I asked Mr. Gallup for this referral he seemed like he was seeing dollar $ signs in me and then over the course of the next several months he confirmed my suspicion and was trying to diagnose me with many tests rather than just getting me to where I need/asked to go for further kidney care, he is only a general practitioner! ( I moved 20 minutes away and now out of my area for insurance to see my prior kidney doctor) Every step at this office was difficult, from making appointments to the last minute text reminders to arrive 15 minutes early (how about just make the appt when you want your people to arrive) to dirty looks and audible sighs at each visit, even down to the office canceling my appointments via a voicemail and then letting me do the footwork to rescheduling at a much later date. But if I was to do the canceling I would have been charged a fee for canceling, it's not fair. This all felt directed towards me and I am still trying to wrap my mind around why? Doctors I thought became healers to help the masses. So many strange occurrences over and over with this doctor. I went there like I said about a year ago for a kidney referral, which he never gave me and at the end stated I DIDN'T need to see a kidney doctor. WHAT?? He thinks that because several months later he took my bloodwork and discovered a UTI and I am not in need of a referral to a specialist and the pain was just from the infection? What he was okay with was a bunch of money making tests for his office to survive. I am still in pain and suffering from a kidney staghorn that is growing as I type, yet now I have to start all over for a kidney doctor referral from yet another GP. There is so much more that went wrong here yet I feel it falls with no recourse or discipline so what is the point ranting here? I do have to say, it is extremely hard to take the advice from a doctor that is not only rude but grossly overweight and doesn't take care of his own healthcare or appearance. What a way to waste a year of my life and a year's worth of growth from my staghorn calculi. This was simply unbelievable. What ever happened to good humans helping other humans for the sake of goodness, especially in healthcare? Our system at its finest, sadly."
"I absolutely love this clinic, and Dr. Meva Kennedy! I was so tired of the treatment I received from the Samaritan Dr's. Meva actually listens to what you have to say. She explains things, and tells you, reminds you of appointments for your age you should do. I could not be happier with this clinic. I am so happy I switched, and found her THANKYOU!!"
"Shauna is the best. Cares about how she can help you with issues in your life ♥️"
"I’ve gone to Valley Clinics for a few years and I’m so impressed with the care I revive here from the friendly people at reception to my phenomenal doctor Maeva Kennedy & Therapist Shauna Fries! As a plus size person of color there are multiple aspects I look for in cultural competency and fat friendly compassion of care and both care providers are more than I could've asked for. Highly recommend!"
