"I went to see Dr. Means here. Although I really like the doctor as a person, there is a lot wrong with this practice. I saw Dr. Means for a couple years, for chronic pain, and a laundry list of other ailments. The biggest thing to be prepared for with this office is that they are extremely disorganized. If you don't have time to be a very vocal advocate for yourself in order to see that each aspect of care is followed up on, then this is not the clinic for you. Everyone from the front office staff to the doctor herself is chaotic and disorganized. But this was something I was willing to overlook. A couple things that finally made me say enough is enough: one of the front office ladies is about the rudest person I've ever encountered. She was cold, disrespectful, and straight-up unhelpful to me many times. Several times I was in a fair amount of distress because of my pain/condition, but that did not change her tone or degree of helpfulness. I just don't understand why you would want a job in healthcare if you are not a compassionate person, or why you would want an admin job if you are not organized and willing to help? The second thing that became difficult for us at this practice is that Dr. Means is really overly busy. Seems like she has taken on too many patients and is just becoming burnt out. There were a few times in 2020 where it was over a month I had to wait to get in to see her. She went to Mexico in 2020 and then had to quarantine upon her return. So she was unavailable to her patients for quite a long time. Anyway, although there were several pretty good things about Dr. Means, I would not recommend her unless you are a very patient person willing to advocate for yourself and put up with grumpy office staff."
