"The Nursing staff was phenomenal but I will say their billing department is a mess. A week before surgery they incorrectly attempted to authorize a surgery on my supplemental insurance plan running it as a primary insurance instead of taking my primary insurance and then proceeded to have me pay out of pocket or cancel my surgery a week before it was to take place. they are an in-network provider to many insurances though seemingly don’t know how insurance plans work. when I asked them why, I was told “[sic] I can’t pick and choose what insurance to bill” even though that was exactly what their office attempted to do. Stephanie is inadequately equipped to run insurance claims, esp. if she does not understand the difference of primary, secondary and supplemental insurance. I hope they don’t continue to to do this to future patients. If they don’t want to take insurance correctly they should NOT contract with insurance companies IMO."
