"Dr. Moorhead is extremely patient with me. I was diagnosed with vulvodynia and she has been super understanding and very gentle with me during my pap smear I highly recommend her"
"Dr. King is absolutely wonderful. She's kind and really cares about her patients. Highly recommend seeing her. Her and her team really ensure your comfortable and everything is explained throughly."
"I have doctor Moorehead and she has been nothing but helpful encouraging and motivating during my pregnancy also will suggest things to me without pushing them on to me! If you want a good OB I would recommend her."
"I would not recommend Dr. Moorehead (and the entire Samaritan staff) to anyone. They don’t listen to you. I went in for an ovarian cyst I’ve had for over a year and she told me it’s not a cyst and sent me to PT. When the assistant came in and asked me some questions she told me, “I bet it would feel good for it to pop finally.” ... definitely reassures me they know nothing about something as simple as some ovaries and a cyst. This isn’t the only bad experience I’ve had with Samaritan. I’ve lived in Lincoln City my entire life and have gone to Samaritan the entire time. Truthfully, they never once have they helped me with anything. I had a teacher last year who worked at Samaritan for 19 years and she told us they go by a “guess and go” system. So they guess and go with it, and give you whatever prescription they think works best for you. They’ve almost killed some friends of mine by giving them wrong prescriptions after a surgery. I have tons of scary stories if anyone wants to hear them haha! Samaritan is a nightmare. If you’re local I know it’s hard but I recommend going to Salem or Portland."
"First off, I have received multiple letters after my complaint trying to ensure that Samaritan wanted to give me the best care I could during my pregnancy. I have received several letters, phone calls, all from Samaritan trying to find out what happened on my visit on September 16th during my prenatal care visit with Danielle King, and it has been a joke. I have just received another letter today stating that all protocol has been followed correctly during my visit and care that I received, and while they talked to Danielle about the complaint received (I am assuming this is not true because I do not believe a single thing told to me by Lincoln City Samaritan at this point), this letter was dated on October 1st, almost a month ago. This point proves to me as well that they do not care to get back in a timely manner to their patients or care to fix the problems that I have had with them. Danielle King's bedside manner is atrocious. Robotic to say the least and one of the most apathetic OBGYN doctors I've met during my pregnancy. She laughed at me when I requested for a possible ultrasound in between ultrasounds, when I have history as a high risk patient and have the right to ask for more than the ones stated, considering a doctor has to order them for me. She stated that I am obese and put this on my medical record, this coming from a doctor no bigger than a twig and I have not been told by any other provider this, as I am not. *I do not mind if I was a bigger patient, but I am not and it should not be stated as such.* She put several dates wrong on my medical record that are now hard to fix for my future providers to assess correctly, by not reviewing my previous MyChart from Salem to confirm the dates she marked were wrong, when I gave her the correct dates verbally for my previous miscarriages at my appointment. She also threatened my husband and I with a DHS investigation due to my previous THC use on my medical record, that I have NOT used or had during this pregnancy, within the first 10 minutes of my visit. No hellos, no goodbyes, and the only ones I received were from the nurse's assistant. I'm guessing this because she was either being rushed or just plain did not give any cares about me or my appointment. Everything above that is stated is true, as I have given my sentiments to Samaritan multiple times, and I do not wish her upon any future patient, especially new mothers and parents if this is the "protocol that has been correctly followed"."
