"I had to take my mom(90) down to urgent care on mothers day as she was having breathing problems. The receptionist and the nurse were so kind . The Dr was Dr. Halferty...he was very thorough and my mom just loved him! Which says a lot! He was very kind and explained everything so we could understand. Would definitely recommend him and the clinic to anyone!"
"Urgent care saw us quickly and gave us very helpful information about a possible retina tear. They couldn't diagnose with the tools they had, but the doctor on duty seemed very knowledgeable and gave us guidance from symptoms."
"Absolutely horrible service for my daughter that came in tonight with a badly cut and bloody thumb left to sit and wait for an hour and half to be seen. Once seen the Doctor treatment was pathetic, no antibiotic prescribed stating that they had cleaned to wound so well... I have serious doubts since the stitches are the worst I have seen and appear to have been done by a child. I work in the healthcare industry and will be filing a quality of care against your facility as well as Sara M Harvison ARNP. It is no wonder your Google rating is so bad seems to me you need to do some house cleaning and care a bit more about your patients."
"Went to Urgent Care, the office staff and nurse were very nice. But the doctor, Dr. Anderson, was extremely arrogant and rude. He told me he was giving me a certain muscle relaxer and when I picked it up it was totally different than what he said he would give me. He needs lessons on "beside manner", or a personality change. Not a nice person. Must be the reason he is in urgent care instead of his own practice. Will never go back!"
"My wife and I just moved to Lincoln City. Based on recommendations from our neighbors, we have chosen a new Dr. Unfortunately, the first appointments we could get are still a month out. In the meantime, my prescriptions for blood pressure medication are running out, and I have no refills remaining. This is the time I would normally go in for my annual bloodwork. I went into the Adventist Urgent Care for two reasons, 1) to get a short term refill of my blood pressure meds until I could see my new Dr., and 2) to address what I thought was blood in my urine. I have an ongoing kidney stones issue, and generally have a small prescription of pain medication on hand to take when a stone passes . A urine sample taken while I was there confirmed that I had blood in my urine. Passing this stone is going to be painful. No pain medication. Rather than simply prescribing a month’s worth of blood pressure medication until I could see my new Dr., and refilling my pain medication to ease the passing of the kidney stone, the FNP (Elaine Olesick), refused to prescribe a “Narcotic”, because she didn’t really know me, and would only prescribe two weeks worth of blood pressure meds. The rationale was that she knew for a fact that I could see some other Dr. down the street in less than two weeks. WTH? So, I should pass a kidney stone without pain medication because she isn’t comfortable prescribing it? And I should see a different Dr. down the street because my new Dr. can’t see me earlier? That’s why I went to urgent Care! Not to mention that I would undoubtedly have to duplicate a set of labs when I see my preferred Dr. just a few weeks later! And let’s not even talk about the two hours of my life wasted there just waiting to be seen, and the additional two hours wasted for this ridiculous outcome."
