"Beautiful campsite on the odd numbers looking out to lake. Sites are moderately sized, level and road is nicely paved."
"Your bathrooms are in serious need of a makeover. Ladies room (non handicapped) shower floods. The shower heads suck. You leave the doors open so theres constant bugs and reptiles. The people that clean the restrooms are always late. States cleaning between 530-6. I've been not able to use the restroom at 8am. Mowing people are mowing way too close too people's tents. They've been literally a foot from my head before. Do better"
"Overall a great campground for the price and location. It’s far enough off i5 and away from the cities enough to feel somewhat remote, but your within a short drive of any convenience you may need. Check in consisted of a manned booth check in process, gave me my parking passes. Easy and no hassle. They have a lot of pull throughs both on the water and towards the back (calmer/more room) that can accommodate larger trailers and I even saw a couple class a pushers. I would say 80 percent of the groups there were in trailers with the remaining either car or tent camping. The no alcohol rule does seem to keep the more interesting characters you find in cheap camping sites away. Everyone was nice and seemed happy to be camping. If the water level is up too high it can create a situation where you don’t have a lot of places to walk besides the campground itself. But most people have kayaks or boats and probably won’t see this as an issue. The dump was clean and well kept, both non potable and potable water available What they could be doing better: there were some branches reaching below 10 feet during my visit and my campsite had some trash left around and was clearly not cleaned. They also had gardeners mowing dead grass and just throwing dirt everywhere which was pretty comical. That said overal for $20 a night it’s a good place"
"Great camp ground. Only issue was the lake was low so the swimming area wasn't open but we went to the other side of the lake and found a great spot for all the kids. The rangers where so nice and helped the kids get their junior ranger badges which they loved! If your camping in spots along the water beware that people will walk through your camp sites even with walking paths to the water. Noise level after 10pm was fine never had anyone super loud.. only complaint is the signs on the bathroom state cleaning is a certain time but they clean them whenever they get to them which means closing the bathrooms in the mornings at peak time ( lots of people waiting for the bathroom)"
"Wonderful camp ground! I love the spacious spots. The lake is nice. People complaining about the rules are obviously NOT liking to follow them. There wouldn't be an issue if people could just behave themselves and not spoil the quiet for others with their loud and drunken behavior. I'm glad that isn't an issue here. Camp hosts are awesome. They do a great job making sure people are behaving themselves. If you're an adult that can't handle a few rules, that's a you problem."
