"I rated 3 stars because there are things this hotel does well, but enough things to where I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. The hotel had an unpleasant but not overbearing smell in the lobby, and the rooms also were slightly unpleasant smelling. There was a lightly visible stain in the comforter, but overall the room was okay and didn't feel gross. The proximity to the interstate is a huge plus. The staff here was very helpful in resolving a booking issue that we had through a third party service. He went out of his way to help resolve our issue and we really appreciated it. Breakfast was standard fare and was adequate. Overall an okay stay if you need it, but admittedly falls a bit short of my expectation for a best western. Personally, next time I will look in Eugene for lodging."
"A great place to spend the night while heading back north. Nice big, clean rooms. Reasonably decent breakfast. Super friendly guy at check-in. Great deal for the price."
"Conveniently located. Friendly front desk. Clean room and bathroom. Rooms are dated, but comfortable and nice enough for an overnight stay. A bonus is a hot breakfast with decent coffee. No hidden costs such as parking, WiFi etc Good value for money. Would recommend."
"I have a love for best western only place I would stay. But I have to say I will never go to cottage grove again. The "manager" "molly" is extremely unprofessional down to the point to threaten me to cancel a room I booked while I was on the way to them."
"Staff was great, lobby, hallways and all other common areas were clean. Pool and spa were CLEAN! Breakfast service was excellent and Room was very clean as well. Location not ideal as it’s a bit “methy” but that’s not Best Westerns fault and we felt very safe, stopping for the night on our road trip, traveling with a 6 month old and a toddler. Highly recommend this Best Western!"
