"By far, the worst, most disgusting rooms I have ever been offered. Stayed a delightful property under the OYO banner in Seaside and was hoping for the same here. We spent a total of 3 minutes in the disgusting room. Everything was dirty. Toilet, uncleaned. Bathmats and towels, dirty and covered in whatever the previous occupant had left. The floors, covered hair and filth from the last, I assume, six people to stay. The kitchenette, covered in an unknowable substance that would need industrial strength cleaner to remove. The fridge, turned backwards for some reason and covered in half an inch of dust and grime. An electrical breaker panel in the middle of the room without a cover for some reason. An ancient ac unit, covered in the same grime and dust as the fridge and yellowed to the point of browning. A forlorn, threadbare couch with a discarded, used paper towel. A TV placed in the corner, unviewable from either the couch of horrors or the bed. Of course, the experience would not be complete without the pungent aroma of stale cigarette smoke, mold, remnants of decay, and human sadness. I guess the beds seemed, at least upon limited, cursory examination, okay. Fortunately, we got out, got our deposit back and were able to dispute the room charge via our credit card company's false advertising clause as the room looked nothing like what was posted online. Disclaimer, I grew up poor and if we ever went anywhere it was a budget motel like Motel 6 or some other place where weekly rates advertised as a feature and none of those places comes close to being as bad as this abomination."
"This is a budget hotel! If you want the cheapest price and aren't worried about cleanliness, then stay here. Expect holes in the sheets and many things in need of maintenance. Single pain windows and single wall construction in between rooms basically turns it into a gamble for noise. We stayed here one short night to save money on our drive home from Canada."
"This hotel got a 2 because it beat sleeping outside in the cold . The pillows were absolutely horrendous- I honestly think I’d get a better pillow at a county jail. Booked it because it said it had a tub - it did but there wasn’t a drain stopper . Parking lot was dark and had sketchy people drinking beer in it and playing loud music. The front desk lady was nice."
"My personal experience with oyo has been good. Nice rooms with bath tubs for the price. I have never seen bed bugs or roaches personally although one morning when I was checking out a monthly renter was complaining about roaches in a room with kitchenettes. I never get those type of rooms and have never seen any. Oyo is my preferred spot in the Hermiston area."
"DIRTY AND NOISY ROOM, OLD TOWELS, LOUD GUESTS. The room was half clean. The beds were clean, and the washroom garbage changed. The sink was dirty! The floor was disgusting. It was sticky dark. The garbage was full of leftovers and drinks cups. Due to the late hours, it was after 10 PM, we decided to take the garbage out and request the room to be cleaned the next day. By the end of the next day, they haven't cleaned our room. When I complained in the reception, they said the cleaning crew had left and we should wait for the next day. I asked for lysol wipes to clean the room by myself. SEE THE PICTURE OF THE WIPES. Besides the lack of cleaning, the walls are thin as paper, and we can hear the noise of the other room shower. Even with earplugs, you still can feel the vibration of people walking around, and the music other guests were actually listening too loudly. They have a paper in the door informing that due to some maintenance, they were shutting the water between 3 and 5 pm. I just saw a review here with this information around 4 weeks ago. We asked for a discount, considering I HAD TO CLEAN MY ROOM, they offered us an extra day with a lower rate instead. I considered it JOKE. To be offered to come back after a terrible stay. No, thank you. I am NOT coming back."
