Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hermiston Downtown, an IHG Hotel

"Our daughter in-law and children booked a room for tonight, Saturday March 9th 2024 so that they could visit here in Hermiston. When the room was booked she had asked about the use of the pool and no concerns about the pool were explained. They wished to use the pool and later go to the fireworks at Wildhorse in Pendleton. They called to see if their room was available at 1:30 pm and was told that there would be a $30 charge to check in early at 2pm. They decided to wait until official check in time at 3pm. When attempting to check in at 3pm she asked again about the pool and was told that it was not available for 2 or more hours as they had just treated it with chemicals. Even though the pool was not available right away she decided to stay anyway. When she was asked for her drivers license to verify her identity etc. She was then told that as she lived in Kennewick and that was within 60 miles of the location of the motel the reservation has to be cancelled. She was then informed that her credit card had already been charged for the room and she would not see the credit back for several days. So much for Holiday Inn Hermiston or any Holiday Inn anywhere Never NEVER again"

The room was super comfortable and clean. You could tell the hotel management truly cares for your experience while staying. Thinking of many ways to try and make your stay as comfortable as s possible and help with things you may have forgotten."

"From what I could tell online, this was the best hotel option for me in Hermiston. I stayed one night and I would stay here again. Newer facility, good parking options in the rear. Room was clean and in great shape. Was able to find a good place to eat across the street. The downside was being on the same side of the hotel as 395 which was very loud. Traffic never seemed to lighten up. A room on the other side of the building would probably be ideal."
