"This was a disappointing visit. Hoping to try several wines, we were spoken to very loudly, stressfully, and unhelpfully after asking what was available for the day. We basically had to guess and hope that what we wanted was available even though we sat at the bar and the open bottles appeared to be nearby. The second wine I requested was poured into the same glass as the first, while there was still wine in it. We were not asked if we needed anything else, or even asked what we thought of the wines we tried. So bizarre, it was really startling and unpleasant. An anomaly in an otherwise wonderful visit to Walla Walla!"

"This is a just what a visit to a downtown Walla Walla tasting room should be: Friendly, non-pretentious, and comfortable. I am not a wine sophisticate so I'm always a bit worried about fitting in when I visit a winery. However the staff at Gard makes you very welcome and they provide for a wonderful experience with tasty and reasonably-priced food options. I'd highly recommend this comfortable tasting room and patio."
