"Had a fantastic experience at Hattaways. We had a group of 8 and we sat in the small wine room for an intimate setting. Megan our server was absolute perfection. She was warm, witty, attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Food was unique and flavorful and just out of this world good! Our group loved every moment!"
"Highly recommended stop in Walla Walla. Wen in for restaurant special on a Friday night, the restaurant was really busy. They were well staffed and doing a fantastic job. Service was not rushed and server was really attentive. We had cocktails to start off and they made a fantastic old fashioned, we also brought our own bottles of wine which was not a problem at all. Food was phenomenal and everyone loved what they received. I had halibut cheeks, they were perfectly prepared. Had a wonderful meal and have nothing but great things to say about this local gem. I would like to see a couple more veggie options;)"
"The Good: Excellent service. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and swift. I wish I remembered her name to mention. Atmosphere is good if you like low-light setups. The Food: Can be hit or miss. I did not find any of the dishes we ordered memorable. Price to quality ratio is quite high. The broccolini dish we ordered was borderline burnt (not charred). The addition of the burnt shallots (as mentioned in menu) only made it worse. Grits shined in the halibut cheeks dish, which doesn’t bode well for a $37 halibut dish. The cheeks might have been overcooked as they were quite stringy. The radicchio salad and beef cheeks dishes were on point, however, nothing extraordinary. I’m giving 4 stars for the overall experience. However, the food leaves lot to be desired."
"Perfect date night with my partner. Feels extremely cozy, likewise the staff is all attentive and the interactions were pleasant. We were able to find a $60 bottle, a local cab from Walla Walla! The menu is simple, with great seafood and hearty options. Truly enjoyed the grilled octopus but everything I had was prime time."
"Great dinner, excellent service, nice atmosphere. The charred broccolini and the celery and fennel salad were excellent. My husband loved his spaetzle with ragu sauce. A couple of things would have earned a 5 star instead of 4 though. My entree of grilled octopus was served with cornbread croutons that were overly sweet and didn't really go with the dish in my opinion. The serving included only one small piece of octopus, I could've eaten two... Also, we ordered a fresh berry salad for dessert, that was good but unfortunately hidden under a giant serving of orange flavored whipped cream that kind of defeated the health benefits of the berries LOL. We would eat there again though, overall a very nice experience!"
