"I hesitate even reviewing or sharing info as I want it to be our secret. We were blown away by every aspect of our stay. We happened upon it by just passing by. The staff is amazing, the cleanliness perfect and access to beach so lovely. Minimal decor (which is what I love). We are already discussing when to return. Perfection! Thank you!"

"I would never stay here after my experience this afternoon. We are staying in a house next door. I realize that the steps are for their guests and we have our own steps to get down to the beach. I ha e a 3 year old that really wanted to go down. To the beach and the wife was out with the car otherwise I would have drove down to the beach. We walked over to walk down the steps because I was not comfortable with my toddler climbing down a rock wall as the stairs on our side were washed out. We walked over to use the steps myself and my toddler and some older guy came out and came at us yelling. Again I realize it's private property and everything but for God's sake it's a 3 year old and I was just looking out for her safety."

"Totally loved my trip here. The staff was amazing, the room was beautiful and the price was fair. My only complaint was that during my visit, the room I was in had a broken tub. I would have loved to have soaked. I will definitely be returning here sometime soon."

"I’m not understanding any of the negative reviews. I think some people just choose to be perpetually unhappy with everything. This place was amazing, right on the beach, excellent service, kind staff, and the perfect beach cottage, exactly how a beach cottage should be. If you’re used to fancy, bloated, overdone huge so-called beach “cottages” you won’t like this place because they embody what an Oregon beach cottage should be: Quaint, rustic, cozy, simple. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. I’ve already got my week next year reserved! Please don’t change a thing!"

"Although our family has stayed at various cabins and lodges in Yachats for 30-plus years, we've never enjoyed a place as amazing as the Beach House. With room for all of us (6 adults, one toddler) we always had a place to get away. Our 3 year old granddaughter especially liked the sunroom w/ a box of toys for her to play with. The adults loved the well-appointed kitchen ... everything we needed for preparing meals was available. The bedrooms were comfortable with beautiful views of the ocean. So convenient to walk out the back door and have a short hike to the ocean, for walks up and down the beach. This house is beautiful, comfortable, and we'll definitely be back. If I could make only one suggestion, it would be to add a couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom doors for pajamas, robes, etc."
