"I have been on hold for over 45 minutes and no one has answered the phone. I even went through the store phone number to get transferred to pharmacy that way, no one has picked up the phone in pharmacy."
"You guys should let customers know when your pharmacy workers are too lazy to come in. That way I don’t have to drive 25 minutes just to hear that the pharmacy workers simply couldn’t be bothered to go to work. It honestly would probably be less work for me to drive 45 minutes to Salem for medication rather than the local rite aid. If anyone is thinking about switching from Walmart to rite aid, don’t bother. Rite aid screws up more than Walmart and rite aid has 1/10th the amount of customers. Your guy’s terrible review rating is justified."
"I changed to this pharmacy because Walmart was so busy and don't care for wally world. What a huge mistake that was. They don't answer the phone stand in line for hours just to find out the prescription isn't ready what joke."
"My husband asked 3 times if the medication was the antibiotic and was assured it was. They STILL handed him a different medication in the drive thru. So, he had to go inside and wait in another long line only for them to say they were not sure if the script was there or not and they refused to investigate. Bronchitis can quickly turn into pneumonia and a script for antibiotics is not something they should dismiss. The worst part about this whole situation is we have had one of those married couple arguments where you just don't want to admit your spouse is correct. I disagreed every time he said Rite Aid sucks and I need to go to Walgreens. Now I'll have to concede; you're right dear."
"They’re understaffed like everyone seems to be. Yes if you want the convenience of driving through, you’re going to wait a long time. What bothers me is you cannot get anyone on the phone now, ever. I was just there and now I know why. Checking out at the front counter, not the pharmacy, the phone starts ringing. One employee says to the other checker “Just let it ring and ring, it’s the pharmacy line and they won’t pick up at the pharmacy anyway”. Wow. Really? You can’t figure out to add a voicemail option so desperate patients who at times like myself literally cannot leave home to come in and find out if an rx is in stock or not, can leave a message? I get that with Covid all health care is stressed and overwhelmed. But that employees casual attitude about how they just don’t pick up the phone there anymore, that’s it. After this next refill, which is not in stock and so I’ll likely run out of a medication I rely on, I’m done. Praying wherever I choose next has an actual voicemail for when they can’t get to the phone. I will say this: pharmacy employees themselves have always been kind and courteous. It’s sad how them being understaffed is genuinely affecting patients in need of their medications. Patients like me."
