"My family and I have been coming here for years. Friendly staff, lovely beach and a heated pool. The rooms are good, a little out dated but they’re working on it. We never have any issues when we stay here. We always have a great time and enjoy the long walks on the sand with the dog."
"We have stayed here on two different occasions. Obviously it was good enough for a repeat stay, but just barely. The location is super good, right out of the parking lot leads to the beach and a third of the rooms have ocean views. The service is actually not bad. It's the rooms that leave a lot to be desired. They are clean but that's about all they have going for them. They are outdated with multiple issues. With that said, it is the pricing coupled with the location that might have you becoming a repeat visitor. Definitely not a place to go if you're looking for a high quality room."
"Great hotel right on the beach. Watch the waves on Manhatten Beach right from your patio and room. Family room has a full kitchen with stove and oven, fireplace, comfortable beds, couch and table. Was a great value and a super setup with a one bedroom and second bed in the living room. A short drive into town which has everything one needs, including a fun rock shop and rock garden. Had a great stay and the staff was really lovely and helpful with suggestions of unsolicited yet much appreciated rockhounding stops along the coast. Would 100% stay here again!"
"Really enjoyed 3 days, 2 nights by the ocean. It was very relaxing sitting by the fireplace with waves crashing in the background. The ocean was right outside our room. The room was clean. And even though the bed was comfortable, it jiggled with the slightest movement, so light sleepers beware. As for the staff, the lady who reserved our room was very rude, but the 2 gentlemen I dealt with on sight were great."
