"Great place to stay in South Cannon Beach. Very friendly owner. Soft beds, clean. Complimentary pastries, and coffee for breakfast. Mo’s diner and a super nice grocery store a half a mile north. Would stay at again."

"Darrel was extremely friendly and accommodating. Place is quaint and charming, filled with unique furniture, art, and antique collections. Darrel made us coffee and tea in the morning and had fresh pastries ready as well. 5 min walk from the beach where you can see haystack rock, etc. Would recommend more-so for a couple!"

"Daryl is an absolute legend of a host! We loved chatting with him and learned a lot about the history of the town and the inn. We felt right at home in room 2- tucked cozily in the corner with a beautiful ocean view. We cannot wait to go back and recommend this inn 10/10. Not to mention, we had the yummiest pastries that Daryl generously provided us in the morning. Thanks Daryl!"

"Darryl, the inn host, was incredibly kind and let us do our thing. He provided us with a simple tour of the place and welcomed questions and offered wonderful coffee and pastries from a local bakery each morning. The inn is a minutes walk from the beach and is close to a grocery store (a close drive). As for the decor, my husband and I could not have loved it more! There are so many lovely, interesting pieces to look at, everything from lamps to clocks to plants and Japanese art. The only thing to note (which wasn’t a con for us) was that the rooms don’t lock from the outside."

"The Wave Crest Inn was a great experience the building has wonderful history and the owner/host is both gracious and an interesting fellow that I enjoyed talking with. Take a moment to talk to Hank while you are there and soak up a little knowledge of the town. Head down the street a block or so to the beach and walk to haystack rock down the sand or buy some wood at the nearby store and have a relaxing fire on the beach! The Wave Crest is just outside town enough to allow for a private beach experience even in the peak months. Our room was good, the place is clean and cozy it feels like a home."
