"Stayed for a night in February, the room was spacious and clean, nicely decorated. Walking distance to the beach/ #haystackrock. The #haystackrock was in front of us as soon as we opened the balcony door. Such a joyful experience seeing the #haystack for the first time."

"We booked three nights in an “Ocean Front King” for our recent visit to Cannon Beach. The people are very nice and the free beer at check in was a nice touch. We were disappointed to find that the view was of a building under construction directly in front of our room. They really shouldn’t advertise this as Ocean Front. I would call it a partial view of the Ocean in the distance if you stand outside and look around the corner. Initially, I felt that a 3 star review would be fair. But, on our last day, housekeeping only partially cleaned the room. The bed wasn’t made. There was sand all over the floor. Ect… We were aware at booking that there would be some construction. But, 05:50 in the morning? Really??? And, it is definitely not a place to try and take an afternoon nap. I believe the property should probably be closed during construction. I don’t often take the time to write a review unless we have a really positive experience. But, the Surfsand Resort was a bit of a disappointment for us. I believe a 2 star review is fair considering our experience. Although…the free afternoon cookies were pretty good…"

"An absolutely gorgeous hotel and the room was so much nicer than we expected. Matt at the front desk went above and beyond for us to make sure everything was all set for our visit. Cas the overnight staff member was extremely helpful as we had many random questions throughout the night, and they were able to assist us with everything we needed to make our stay memorable. hated to leave. will definitely be back again!"

"Very nice resort. Right on the beach, gorgeous views! Rooms are very clean and spacious. Love the fireplace and balcony. The mattress was a little too soft. Access to the beach, they even have lanterns in rooms for an evening walk along the beach. Staff at the reception is very friendly, helpful."
