"Room is cute at first glance. The location is ideal and close to the beach. The cleanliness could improve gravely. The floors were dirty and the bedding + towels smell terribly of mildew. Only sleeps two because in my opinion the two mats provided for additional sleeping are not fit for people, they are covered in stains and pet hair."

"Nice. Centrally located. Beach is a short 1/2 block away. Just enough space for our clan. Almost kid (infant/ toddler) friendly . Just need some child locks on doors/drawers to keep them from slamming them (hahaha). Cozy mismatched furniture. Befs were VERY comfortable. I didn't want to get out of it! CLEAN, SOFT LINENS! Tons of extra blankets, towels, PILLOWS! & sundries. Most of the basics for cooking. Tools & utensils provided. No basics like salt/pepper/seasonings or dry/wet cooking needs there, but we brought our own & not a big deal, just giving a heads up! Could have been cleaned a bit better before our arrival. Found a bunch of sand under the ottoman when it got moved. Some random plastic wrappers found. Didn't bug us, but notable. Roku installed, so Netflix, Hulu & Prime all installed & active for your viewing pleasure. Perfect for adults & kids to be entertained after cooking lunch. The remote & microwave had some quirks (just some buttons didnt work). Some books or board games would have been a nice addition. The celing fans worked like a champ to cool off after the beach! House could use some updating for sure & I'll bet it is freezing in the winter but nice summer spot, for sure. Corner store in walking distance as well as several restaurants. A lil park for the kids is next to the school (about 15min walk). All in all, Great centrally located spot. A quaint lil house (almost) on the beach. Space for all. We had a very happy & successful last minute, pair of the moment vacation here. We'll be back! *S"

"I stayed in The Lighthouse suite with two friends and we really enjoyed it. The view of the ocean and the hot tub included were at an unbeatable price. I also loved the full kitchen that came with it. Great place for the money this time of year."

"Not what we were expecting. We were in the "Cottage". One big room downstairs with one of the beds, couch, kitchen and large jetted tub all in one room. Up a steep set of stairs, the is a bedroom with a large space heater and slight view of the beach. If you're tall, a bit of a problem with its slanted eaves. Arrived to dirty dishes in the dishwasher and cupboards. Baseboard heater in main room downstairs, next to the bed, clicked all night. Breaker for upstairs kept tripping and shutting the power off up there. Brought steaks to cook for four, but the stove was too small to use broiler so we had to go out to eat. Tiny Weber bbq outside was too small & rusted. It was very close to the beach, which was nice, but for $150 a night at winter rates, we should have stayed at the Surfsand Resort nextdoor."

"Unfortunately, this old 1932 cottage style house shows it's age and is dated in what you get in amenities, space, kitchen function. The beds were comfortable, but that was about all. The management is the worst we've ever encountered in resolving issues in our opinion. The truth of the matter is that Cannon Beach is so popular that poor customer service is ok with the management team as the demand is so high in this town. Adjust your expectations to be low, and you will be ok with a stay here. As for us, we won't be back after giving them an opportunity to do right, and they didn't."
