"My husband and I have been very pleased with our daughter’s experience at Montessori Cares School. Before she started at the school, almost a year ago, our daughter wasn’t speaking as much as we would have liked. We had kept her with care provided in our home, but made the switch when we decided she needed more social interaction and we were concerned about her language development. Once she started at the school she blossomed! We love seeing how our shy, quiet baby is quickly becoming a confident, independent “big girl.” She’s so happy and well adjusted. Every day she comes home and tells us what she ate for lunch (always something balanced and nutritious), who she played with, and what she “worked” on that day. She especially enjoys playing outside in the school’s garden, circle time, and learning new songs from her teachers. We love that her art projects, including paper cuttings and finger paintings, are so carefully labeled and passed on to us to admire with her at home. Our daughter knows her numbers, is working hard to learn her letters, can clean up and play by herself and with others, has empathy for her friends, and looks forward to returning to the classroom each day. So much of her success is owed to the kind, compassionate, attentive care and instruction she receives from her wonderful teachers. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to enroll her at Montessori Cares School."

"Fantastic school !! My son is always happy to go to school and very much enjoys his time in school and learning new things each and every day. The teachers are really good, caring and dedicated. Kids participate in a variety of activities and events and enjoy both their teachers and classmates company. They are having a great time and lots of fun too!!! I attribute this to the exemplary teaching and community feel of the school as well as to all the teachers and amazing "Mrs. Khan" who is always passionate, smiling and ready to assist whenever needed. Kids get individual attention here and it really shows in the progress they make. The facility is great, lots and lots of bright light, big playground and kids love to spend time at the school. It has made our Jobs as parents easier. Such a wonderful school."

"When I started looking for a Daycare for my son at 15 months old, I was a freaked out mom. I visited every daycare in Beaverton/Hillsboro area but even the best of them didn’t convince me. All the teachers and the kids in the classes looked so sad and to add to my anxiety, they would tell me what all they would teach my 15 months old when all I wanted to hear was how he would be loved, cuddled and cared in a safe & happy environment. I saw, kids crying when they were dropped off and no teacher would pick them, hug or console them. When I enquired, they would tell me, it would make it worst if they entertained that behavior… really, that is an undue hardship on young kids, when we all know how important holding & cuddling and providing assurance is when a human child is so young. I seized my search for a while and started again when he was two. At this point the option of Montessori opened up and I started visiting all the Montessori around like crazy, and of course, I loved the Classroom set-up, but again, some classrooms looked too dark, some weren’t cleaned enough, some would smell…by this time my friends and family had declared me as an obsessed mom and who would never find something she was looking for and honestly, I was kind of convinced until I walked into Montessori Cares. Waw....here was a classroom completely bright with natural lights, big and open, absolutely clean, kids didn’t wear outside shoes inside, kids got fresh cooked real nutritious food (plenty of greens and fruits) and above all, for the first time, I saw teachers and students both happy. Oh God… What a relief it was! And then came the time to a have serious conversation with Mrs. Khan, I must admit, it wasn’t easy, she appeared too strict and harsh and business oriented at first, though knowledgeable at the same time. She knew about a child psychology more than anyone else I had ever met in a Montessori/Daycare setting. So... finally I decided, still skeptical though, but I knew I loved the teachers and the school set-up, so I ignored the feelings which I knew were not that important. Bump… We got it going in the cold and severe January weather. On the first day my son didn’t realize I was going to leave him but from the second day, the crying started and got worse until it got better. However, to my greatest satisfaction, I never ever had to leave my crying child unattended as Mrs. Khan or any other teacher would always pick him, carry him around and give undivided attention until he was comfortable enough to start the day. As days passed I saw, Mrs. Khan was more involved with kids than I had previously thought. When I went to pick my son a bit early, I saw her and other teachers literally spoon feeding kids, who needed help, they would make sure your child finishes meals like we do it at home. Gradually all my doubts and confusions disappeared as I found my son growing into that safe and intellectual environment… his stories never ended at home and undoubtedly he wanted to go to school even during weekends. Mrs Khan, Mr Lucus, Mr Dutton & Mr Vijayan, all made this school a second home for my son while letting him be his own little explorers in the amazing Montessori setting. Mrs Khan worships the concept of Montessori and she makes sure to implement it as it is. So, any confused parents out there, I give a thumps up for this school… trusting someone else with your sweethearts are terribly tough but If you have trust someone, I would say… start with Montessori Care. I can’t put all my feelings and observations here but I truly appreciate Mrs Khan’s and all the teachers efforts for children. Here are a few pics, which always bring smile on my face."

"My daughter has been enrolled in Montessori Cares for more than year now. I see her developing into a confident and intelligent person and I can say that she is really taken good care at the school. Her needs are met at the school and she learns so much from all the teachers there. She just loves to go to the school and wants to be there even on weekends. Montessori Cares is one of the best Montessori schools that we have seen. Every child is taken care of and I recommend this school to everyone to ensure overall social, behavioral and educational development ."

"If you are a parent who cares about developing your child's character and abilities to the utmost, you will want to include this Montessori as you make your decision. Mrs. Khan is truly an amazing teacher! My daughter just spent the last two years at Montessori Cares and our decision to send her there was one of the best we have ever made. The children are taught to value and respect each other from the very first day. Mrs. Khan and her team are able to spend a lot of quality time with each child (due to the teacher student ratio) and I believe this is a major reason why my daughter is excelling at such a young age. I can't even imagine how far ahead of the norm my daughter would be if we started sending her to this school when she was 2! There is the perfect balance of academics/arts/life skills. I love how ethnically diverse my daughter's class was. Mrs. Khan is so caring! I really believe she loves her students. I really can't say enough good things about Montessori Cares! Without hesitation, I would recommend this school to anyone interested in a school for their 2 to 7 year old."
