"Absolutely horrible ownership and service. Called to let them know I wasn’t going to be able to make my reservation due to unforeseen circumstances and got yelled at by the owner saying he doesn’t care about lame excuses or family emergencies, things like that shouldn’t happen if you knew you were going to make a reservation and proceeded to explain he is not front desk, not general manager, and does not care to deal with peoples problems. Never have I been treated so rudely right off the bat let alone yelled at by an owner who’s in the industry of customer service. Absolutely disrespectful and do not reccomend doing business here."
"If you have a pet, do NOT stay at this hotel. We were charged an extra $250 charge for a simple mistake. Read more if you want the details. When I saw the charge on our mastercard bill, I immediately called down there to see what the problem was and why there was a charge. The person I talked to that Friday was leaving soon and said he would check into it and that I should call back Monday. When I did he said I would have to talk to the general manager, Nakul, who would be in at 3 and to call back then. I did just to be told he was in a meeting. I left my number, but not hearing from him, I called back later and spoke to him. He said he had to talk to the person who entered the complaint and could I call back tomorrow. I did and he said the fine was because our dog was running around unleashed and had growled at both other guests and staff. This is completely untrue. First of all, she was NEVER off leash outside of our room and second of all, she foes not have an aggressive bone in her body. I explained this to Nakul and at that point he asked who the reservation was under. I gave him my husband's name and he looked up the reservation and said, "Oh, the charge is because you did not declare your pet." Here's where I think the root of the misunderstanding was. When my husband made the reservation for a one night stay, he said we had a dog with us. Unfortunately, he made the reservation for the wrong day and had to call back immediately to change it to the right day. I am guessing the pet info was not transferred. When we checked in and went to and from our room, we always went through the front lobby. Are those the actions of someone hiding a pet? Anyway, when I brought this up to Nakul, he accused me of changing my story. No I was trying to figure out what could have happened. He was incredibly rude about it and refused to cancel the charge. Needless to say, we will never stay there again and recommend you do not either."
"This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. The rooms smell like locker rooms and stale cigarettes. I’m really not one to complain about something like this but the cigarette smell is so overwhelming we are seriously considering going to a different hotel despite it being 10:00pm. The pillows are paper thin and the bed is truly terrible, I’ve slept on better air mattresses."
"This is what happened to me when I stayed at The Quality Inn in downtown Walla Walla, WA. The day after we got home there was a $250 charge on my credit card. When I called they said I was asked twice to remove my dog from the cafe and I did’nt do it. I was never told to remove my dog and had I been told to remove my dog I would have done that in a min. I do not think this is good company to rent from as they were not honest. I was never told to remove my small dog who was sitting on my lap for about 10 min while my husband ate. When I called to speak to the owner , I left a message and they never called me back. I go to Walla Walla twice a year and I will never stay there again"
"Toilet seat height extremely low. Toilet itself was in a small cubicle. Thought I was using a closet instead of bathroom. Bed pillows had no support for head. Couldn't find an elevator to go up and down from second floor room."
