"Always happy with the service! Mike is very knowledgeable and sets me up for success."
"Usually your service is really good I won't say which company work for as a professional painter it was not the best of experience I waited all day for paint and then was told my paint was ready and then other paint was missing and was redirected somewhere else"
"On 072722, I was at this location, Kaitlyn was the only employee working with the phone ringing off the hook, several customers waiting to be helped and she was so calm, polite, multi-tasking, and she deserves recognition. She handled herself quite well while under pressure."
"-I am a Homeowner in Springfield, OR (store#708126) I had a GREAT experience(s) (stopped twice) and thought in today's world, it might be nice to give someone POSITIVE feedback instead of a complaint. I'm 42, and Painted when I was a kid as a summer job, along with a plethora of other jobs, including customer service manager and trainer. I just do hobby stuff now which was my reason for the local store visit. The gentleman behind the counter (Jacob) was apparently the only person manning the store today. He was doing an amazing job getting people what they needed, including me. I needed some industrial paint that I couldn't find at the local hardware store. I'm refinishing a boat trailer as a gift for my sisters brother. I needed something durable that would hold up with Marine uses. He suggested something, and then proceed to fully inform me of the benefits and drawbacks to that particular material vs some more expensive high grade industrial stuff. He also suggested some discounts that were available and was able to save me some money with my prior military experience, which was greatly appreciated. When I had to return to the store and buy a new brush (or thinking I had to, as I only had nylon and the product said not to use that) he informed me that it wouldn't be a problem, and it wasn't. The project turned out amazing so far and I just wanted to take the time to let you know what a great job he did, and what a friendly person he was with a great personality. I'll definitely be returning for any future paint needs! Thanks again, James Hadd"
"First off, I will start with saying that the staff were only following what computer screens told them. And that I did ask for the color Forsythia, and that was what I received (according to the label). However, the egregious laziness/incompetence of this company as a whole should be known for all future customers. Multiple times we went to S-W stores (more than one location, but this was the last one) and were told certain colors were exterior, when in fact they were interior only. How can a paint company not have that straight in their database?! This involved a lot of running back and forth, choosing different colors, being told incorrect information by staff. After a week of this we were very pressed for time (we had already waited for the painters to get to us for 2 months and didn't want to be put back in rotation) and we did not have time to yet again drop everything and run to a S-W store (we work, hence hiring painters). So I do acknowledge that we broke Cardinal Rule #1 of Paint Selection- we chose the final color off their website. We tried to do our best digitally, viewing the color from multiple screens/ devices, but that apparently was not enough. Big mistake. I now have a blindingly yellow Lego-looking house that we now have to fix. But S-W's two major screw-ups led to our being put in that position: staff being totally unable to even determine if a color is exterior, and them using the wrong color name/hex code on their website. You can see below the difference between what they are calling Forsythia, and the actual color. The hex codes are completely different. The colors may look close online, but you end up with a freakishly yellow house (see last picture) if you trust S-W- which I do not suggest you do. This was such a train wreck of a process, we're only using the local paint store from here on out. I wish our painters hadn't made us use S-W."
