"Richard did a great job. I had a slightly rare, 30+ year old motorcycle that they imported only a few hundred of. The seat cover was damaged and no way of getting an original NOS replacement, and online wasn’t close. He matched up the right color, and a great material that closely matched the grain, enough that you’d never notice.. This job wasn’t Your standard black, but a specific blue, and the seat had difficult angles. I’m kind of picky, and had a chance to look at a couple of his finished pieces that were waiting to be picked up before I left my seat with him. Had I seen any issues, I’d have walked out. Bonus, he did it faster than he’d said it would take. Not that’s a guarantee of how fast he can do it, but in my case,, no promises broke and expectations were surpassed. The guy gives a damn about his job, and his reputation."

"I was referred to Richard by another satisfied customer. He repaired a leather recliner that we had purchased 5 years ago from what we thought was a high end furniture store here in Salem, across from the park. He had to rebuild the poor quality frame as well as the rest of the chair as it's construction , wiring, padding and every aspect of the chair was poor. Will differently do business with Richard again, but will never do business with the store that we purchased these chairs from."

"Worst service I have ever had. It took 3 months for them to not complete 2 shift boots and 2 arm rests. I spoke with the owner who told me it would be completed in 2 weeks. And that he could do everything that I asked. Every time I called he said they were almost done. 3 months later he called and said he didnt have the colors I asked for, and if I wanted them he would order them and charge me for the spool of string. When it was "completed" one arm rest was sewn on backwards, and the shift boots were not functional. And they did not match. They were no where near what the original shift boot that we brought in looked like. The owner was rude, he told me this was the best they could do, and told me he knew I was one those women that would never be happy with the product. In this case no, i would never be happy with this product."

"In brief: Fast, outstanding work, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I was blown away with the speed the guys at Dallas Upholstery were able to completely rebuild the cushioning and suspension of the driver seat in my Subaru. Just one day! I had believed it was just a few broken springs but come to find out the whole spring pan had broke and Dallas Upholstery went above and beyond my expectations. They crafted a completely new bottom to the seat, wrapped the frame to prevent cutting into the foam, and added extra cushioning! When I heard about how much had to be done I was ready for a large bill but was pleasantly surprised with how well priced everything turned out to be. If you have an upholstery job you've been thinking about getting done I would highly recommend checking in with Dallas Upholstery."
