"This place is a secret gem of florance. Obviously there is a lot one could say is a secret gem about florance but this one is special. Almost anyone can find SOMETHING they like here whether it's pickled quail eggs, salsa, other pickled vegetables. Or just some good ol olive oil and varieties at that. I recommend the quail eggs. And the habanero onions. So flipping good."

"I really only shop here because I like to send local products as gifts to friends and family. However I have been in three times, and have received the same drab, unenthusiastic customer service from the same person. She acts like she couldn’t be more bored and put out to have to help someone. On my first visit, I asked for a sample of the dirty martini brine, and she sighed, and said “I guess, but I don’t have spoons”. So she gave it to me on a plate, like I was a dog. That was simply embarrassing. On my third visit I was offered a punch card. When I inquired about why I had not been offered one on my other visits, I was told that she “offers it to every customer, but some of them say no”. BS!! I have spent a fair amount of money on all my visits and I would have absolutely accepted it if offered. I told a friend about it, who shops there often, and she said she’d never been offered one. I honestly feel slighted and I won’t be giving them my business anymore. I have never left the shop feeling valued, or even genuinely thanked, for that matter. Too bad too, because I live in Florence and probably would have become a regular customer. Not now. Get someone at the counter who can manage to smile and treat people warmly. What really bothers me is the idea that this woman might be the shop owner. And get some sample cups, eh? Have some class."

"I come here and spend an embarrassing amount of money. I even send some of it to my family in the midwest and they have started ordering online as well. I've never bought something that I didn't love. The variety is impressive and you're bound to see something you haven't before."

"I have never had anything from here this place that wasn’t amazing! The closest thing to a bad experience I’ve ever had was today when I had to wait for them to reopen from lunch or something. 100% worth the wait! The quail eggs are amazing and if you haven’t ever tried anchovy stuffed olives, do yourself a favor and get yo self the big jar. Thank you all about olives for existing"
