"Omar Perez-Cortez recently took exemplary care of me and my project. . . In the past I have worked with Westside Drywall but after trying to reach them for a little over a month when I finally got a response they told me they would not do my project because it was less than 1,500 sf (I latter learned that they are under new ownership and are having challenges). I reached out to my contractor friends and they said to call Knez. I was soon contacted by Omar who was very helpful in setting up an appointment to come over review the project and provide a bid. In helping me evaluate the property he was able to identify that many of the rooms I thought did not have insulation already had insulation. He showed me how you could pull off an outlet cover and peek inside the wall to see. In the end it turned out I only need insulation in the kitchen walls and ceiling space. That being the case he said he could squeeze it in between jobs and knock it our quickly. I could not be more pleased with Omar efficiency and execution of this project . "Picked Knez after being send their direction for an energy rebate. The sales rep/project manager, Dale, told me I qualified and said he would send in the rebate which would have been worth about 1500-2,000. When he bid out the job he upsold me on certain materials that would allow me to qualify for the rebates, about another $0.40 per sq ft. This was in August and he never has and is now refusing to submit the rebate. Instead, he's telling me I don't qualify because of permitting. Although, I permitted the whole space. Instead of submitting the rebate like he said he would and the reason I went with them, he's now telling me he won't. I had another bid for $800 less from a competitor and should have gone with them. Do not use Knez if you want to work with an honest company. Shame. He's gone as far as to text me screen shots of my home from past listings (weird)."
