"Great park to stretch your legs. Walking trails and bike path through the park, along with a small wooded trail."

"We love parking at this park and biking over to Dirksen just west of here. The parking lot is usually close to empty, there are several nice shaded picnic tables and play structures for both small and bigger kids. Port-a-potty and water fountains are also bonuses. The fanno creek trail cuts right thru so there is a lot of foot traffic but the park itself usually isn’t packed. It’s also great bc there’s a downed tree that the city left and expanded the bark ground to include it so makes a more natural play area. There’s also lots of field space for playing ball and you can even find a few little areas with shade. Great way to spend a few hours with kids."

"Great neighborhood park... Located on a dead end street.. Wide open grassy field great to layout and relaxe with a good book or better yet with your loved one.. ( great memories) play structure for children to burn off energy.... Clean park... Follow the walking path for a great spring/summer stroll..."

"I guess I didnt discover it, but was quite a revealation. Dirksen park / Fowler MS where my 7/8 boys LAX practice is across the street from Woodard Park. We would go here and take naps & relax but enter from the other side of the park: one way in & out. This is a great relaxing park, good times."
