Bruce's Candy Kitchen

"Hubby brought me home some candy from here. Some truffles and coconut cream candy. They are a little too much for me and frankly fake tasting and yucky but I appreciate the gesture. I hope next time he brings me back some taffy. I love taffy. The coconut cream was too reminiscent of lotion in taste. I usually like coconut cream but these are too sweet. The truffles are a bit heavy, kind of greasy textured. Definitely slice them thinly and eat a tiny bit. Can't win them all. I'm more of a See's candy fan. But they had fun going here on a trip and I'm glad they had the opportunity."

"Bruce's Candy store is a fully stocked candy store with a friendly staff. They had the place decorated for Spring/Easter. If you have some Easter baskets to fill and you can get to Bruce's soon, you will find a ton of goodies! There are fun toys & stuffed animals too. If you like penny pinchers, there is one here. They are open 7 days a week, 10 am to 5 pm (per sign on their window). See my pictures for just some of the sweets and fun things you will find there."

"Everyone in our group loved this place so much we went back multiple times for the house-made saltwater taffy. By far the best candy shop on the coast. Enter by the far right door so you can watch candy being made and try a free sample of taffy as soon as you enter. We took home some beautifully-wrapped gift boxes with samples of every flavor as gifts for friends. Make sure to get a taffy flavor guide so you can take notes on which is your favorite! We don't eat candy often, but this was such a fantastic experience...we highly recommend it!"

"I came here because of all of the Oregon YouTube mentions. It is totally worth the trip! The salt water taffy was amazing! This was hands down the best salt water taffy I’ve had in my life. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because my husband’s popcorn was stale there has to be better quality control with that, especially for $6 per bag. The workers were friendly and the restaurant had a huge variety of candy! They even label which taffy contains dairy which was a huge help for me considering I have dietary restrictions! I highly recommend!"
