"One of the nicest guys I’ve ever met works here. Helpful and just a genuine person. Made my trip. Can’t thank him enough"
"This place is awesome. I’ve never been in person but I ordered from them online. Great prices and even better customer service. They made me feel like part of a surf family/community. Definitely recommend!"
"I would normally rate cleanline 5 stars and generally am not a google-reviewer.. but after my experience at the cannon beach shop today I feel compelled to share my feedback publicly. I came into the shop to see what ding repair would cost and what the timeline would be. With very limited knowledge of what happened to cause the ding on my board, one of the younger male employees decided to take it upon himself to explain to me why the collision was my fault and try to condescendingly “coach” me on what I should have done to avoid the situation. As a female surfer, this behavior is not unusual to see from bros in the surf world, but it was especially disappointing to experience at cleanline, a shop that has fostered my love of surf all of these years. The cherry on top was having another employee assume my board was epoxy, instead of just asking me. It’s a poly board. As mentioned, I’ve always enjoyed my visits to Cleanline and have felt that the store/Josh are supportive of a patriarchy-free surf culture here on the Oregon coast. It is unfortunate that my experience today felt very much otherwise. I hope that the shop will consider talking to their male employees about their approach to female surfers. Misogyny is rife in this sport and I’d love to see our local surf outfitter actively work towards stamping that out. The arrogant young man I spoke to today was salt in the wound of an already bummer day. I will be sure to go elsewhere for my ding repairs."
"The customer service was so amazing. The guys there were so genuinely nice and kind. Prices were very good for a beach town. Will be back every time I'm in town."
"Cool surf shop. Plenty of boards to choose from, and everything else a surfer would need. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly."
