"Absolute highlight of our trip! Brett was a phenomenal instructor - he was focused on the experience, not the outcome. My daughter loved "playing in the water" with him; and got emotional when our time with him was over. For the company - they were on time and prepared with all that we would need. I loved that we could keep the equipment for several hours to continue our fun. I was thrilled to know that our private lesson really was private! "This was such a great experience. My daughter (11) and I had never been surfing before. This was her first time even being in the ocean. Upon arrival, we were provided the correct size of wet suit, gloves, and boots. We were also given the right size of board. The wet suit was awesome to have. I’m a wimp with cold water. This made it warm and enjoyable. We had Brett as our instructor. He was fantastic. He was very patient and encouraging. We drive business to Indian Beach. The beach was so pretty and good area to learn. We spent the right amount of time going over safety and technique. We had plenty of time with Brett in the water coaching us on how to get up. I managed to get up a few times. My daughter tried to get up but was unable too. Nevertheless, she had a lot of fun riding the waves in. I was unsure about going into this whole experience…remember, I’m a wimp with cold water. That all went away after the first few steps into the water. This ended up being such a great decision. My daughter and I had a lot of fun and would do this again. Definitely a highlight of our trip."
