"Since I’ve already convinced all my immediate family and friends to trust Maneli with their locks, I realize I’m overdue to spread the good word to the general public. Maneli is the only person I have trusted with my hair for years. She understands what I want even when my description is vague or (I’m embarrassed to admit this) based off a feeling. Besides the cuts, I’ve recently had her do color for me as well, something I never thought I’d see a professional for. I’ve wanted to go blue for years, but my hair was so dark I didn’t think it was possible. Maneli gave me the perfect shade and I get people asking me constantly where I got it done. Her studio is personal and relaxed, and she can make anyone feel comfortable. During the pandemic, the fact that her salon is a one on one space is definitely a bonus, as is the fact she follows protocols and everything is clean. Also, she’s super supportive of the St Johns community and other small businesses. She’s always happy to sell local artisans wares in her studio and it’s fun to see what people in the area are creating."
