"This place is awesome!! My tan is beautiful!! I'm going on my honeymoon in 3 days and wanted a natural glow so I look good in a swimsuit!! I felt totally comfortable and my spray tan artist was soo chill with the most laid back energy. I didn't even care that I was naked in front of her. It's like she was literally ONLY looking at the spot she was Airbrushing. She was VERY respectful!! Also I was 12 mins late. There policy is 10 mins only. I called her like 5 times on my way there because I desperately needed to get in. I know I pushed the rules but she was very nice and professional to me. I was so scared she was going to be upset but she professionally told me this was a one time thing and after that she was sooo sweet and kind. I can't thank her enough. As far as employees go, I hope the managers understand they have an amazing employee that knows how to handle tough situations when clients present them. For that I am so sorry.. But in the same breath I am very impressed with the level of respect and guidance that she gave me. I Will only go to Bask because of her and her skill level. She did such a great job. I am soo happy with the results... The tan is even and it's soo beautiful. I didn't realize how much I needed color!!! I promise I will get back with the artists name. It is seriously evading me right now. She has brown hair... Ugh.. I will get back to this review and post her name. Mine name's Tessa S. If the owners see this review tonight, look up my apt. "I first discovered Bask over a decade ago. They have different owners now but its still the BEST salon in Portland. They are professional and never pushy on sales. Always very clean and got the best Ergoline beds. Even their lowest level beds are better than some competitors high pressure once. The lamps never feel weak. Oh and the airbrush is so worth it. U will never wanna do a booth spray tan again. Ive never felt uncomfortable while airbrushed. long lasting and looks so great. Theyre very friendly and provide excellent customer service. The only salon i recommend to anyone looking for a tan."

"I love this place. The owners are super friendly and remember my name. It's super clean, the equipment is in really good repair, and COVID precautions are respected really well. It absolutely helps my mood to get a bit of (fake) sun, especially during the winter months. I love that at Bask I just buy a package of some number of tans and I get to use them ad lib; I wouldn't want a monthly membership. So this company really works for me all around. I don't live in the neighborhood and it's worth the drive. If you're considering it, I highly recommend."
