"My 11 yr old had grown his hair out for 4 years and FINALLY decided to cut it. First of all.. Makaylah got us in for a cut last minute and within the hour. She was very kind and patient. Had all 3 kids in tow, including a toddler. She let us all grab a seat and even provided a phone charger so we could charge my phone up and show her a picture of the style of cut my son wanted. Pretty amazing. She spent a very good amount of time cutting my son's hair and making sure it was exactly how he wanted it. Very experienced and professional hair stylist. I was expecting a $27 cut as this is what the website indicated. She did charge me $50 due to the time spent, and being that the cut was a big transformation. I felt this was a little pricy for a child's haircut, especially since we donated his hair. But.. she did such an amazing job that I was honestly happy to pay up. We will definitely be returning here for our families hair cuts. Sorry Great Clips and Cost Cutters but you've been outdone. Thanks again Makaylah!"

"I don't like to put people down. I believe everyone does their best. A guy cut my hair and he was so nice, but if you are unsure of how to do a certain type of cut just be real! I would rather you be straight up and honest and go somewhere else then pretend you know what you're doing. My hair was absolutely butchered. I ended up going home and recutting it myself. I didn't find a reason to go back because clearly he didn't know what he was doing with that particular haircut. Doesn't mean he doesn't know how to cut hair at all but I was upset with my hair cut."

"Teddy has been doing my nails for many years. She bends over backwards to make sure her clients are happy with her work. As long as she is doing nails, I will not be going to anyone else. This Salon is TOP NOTCH!! Oh and, the owner, Liz, is AMAZING!"

"I’ve been a customer of Ambiance and Teddy for about 9 months now and simply cannot say enough good things about her and the services. She’s always willing to try any crazy design ideas I have and always delivers above and beyond my expectations. I’m pretty tough on my nails and the gels she uses are superb- I think I’ve chipped one nail to date. Her pedicures are just divine, a wonderfully relaxing experience. Teddy is really responsive in booking appointments and super flexible the couple times I needed to make a last minute change. Everyone at Ambiance is always so friendly and you just feel like your visiting good friends when you’re there"

"There were many problems in my short time getting my hair and nails done here. For one, I’m a trans man and there were multiple inappropriate questions and comments about that, including point blank asking me about my genitals with no warning or shame. Not trans friendly. Teddy also trauma dumped on me most of the appointment. I left feeling triggered and uneasy. I got my nails done twice, going with the gel. She did not clean her tools well (there was still dust everywhere from the previous client, and all her tools were in a big box with some rubbing alcohol in it but it looks like it hasn’t been changed out or thoroughly cleaned in a long while.)Scheduling was difficult and awkward. She’s extremely temperamental and takes so much personally. I got a wart (which I’ve never had before, and my doc informed me it was most definitely from the nails ) and a nail infection from her unclean tools and the experience overall was extremely unnerving. Not a safe space for anyone, but especially not the LGBTQIA+ community. Just wanted to warn others. I have never had such a bad experience at a salon."
