"I have had insurance through rod Dunlap for my salon since 2020. Today I got a call telling me that my rate was more due to fees and that my payment plan was cancelled due to payment not going through. So what did I do I called the bank. The bank statement shows the money coming out and then also said they denied it because they tried to pull it multiple times again not even 8 days after my last payment. After talking with them I called Ron Dunlap insurance again to inform them I have a statement showing payment was successfully taken out and what the bank said. They still blamed the bank and said “they couldn’t see that” After talking to multiple people on the phone at the same time I was told to provide my full bank statement from 11/30-12/8 which I said no I’ll provide the charge showing it came out with the money still in account and in the end that didn’t work out for them. It’s pretty upsetting that they advertise that they help small businesses and care about community but then when someone who has never missed a payment, has been loyal and paid every month since august of 2020 they are willing to laugh on the phone and make light of the situation. I literally did nothing wrong and am being penalized for something doing on from them to the bank. They raised my rate, they were charging me every 3 months instead of every month and there was hardly even a notice. When I said I guess it’s time to part ways you would think you would help and support a loyal customer they said okay so effective today. What a joke. I no longer recommend and wish them better training for customer service and loyalty. Edit update: Rod you have my number and email if you would like to personally resolve this. Yes the 3 way call happened and they asked for too much that didn’t involve your company and I’m not releasing an entire bank statement from this date to this date. That’s a bit much on top of that of your company doesn’t handle billing why are you having workers calling about billing when I stated my bank said it was an issue on your end not mine or the banks multiple times. The customer service from the first caller was great the second one that joined the 3 way call was a joke she made the matter a joke and at the end was practically laughing. I’d recommend retraining that said worker. I have re reached out to my bank and they once again told me it was on your end not mine and I have been asking and telling clients and family about why happened and everyone agreed that what your workers was asking for was too much and that I shouldn’t have been charged fees for your billing issues and my policy shouldn’t have been changed without talking to me becoming to an agreement but sure go ahead and call and try and resolve this"
"Happy to find a broker who can give you the insurance you need. They get this by listening to what you want and get competitive quotes. Was getting ripped off by my other broker. So ended up with better coverage with 1/2 the deductible Thank you Shelly."
"I can't recommend Rod more highly. I was struggling to figure out what I thought was a very complicated Medicare Part B issue with my dad and Rod was able to quickly understand the issue and answer my questions. He then, very patiently, walked us through step-by-step the signup process and didn't hang up until we had confirmed my dad was covered with health insurance. On top of being patient and very competent, he has a lovely demeanor (kind with a great sense of humor). I am new to the area and will definitely be using Rod for all of my insurance needs going forward."
