Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salem North - Keizer, an IHG Hotel

"Receptionist was insane! Tried to book a stay after our car got a flat at 10 pm that required us to pull over to acquire a new tire once the shops open. Was asked how many adults 2 (husband and I) and how many children 4 (all under the age on 10 and 1 being a newborn) she said we had to get 2 rooms. We can all sleep in 2 queens, the children are small and I didn’t appreciate that we would have to get 2 rooms especially when they aren’t conjoined rooms. Not family friendly, which is disappointing and scary to have to separate our family in an unfamiliar area. For reference we came 1/28/24 and spoke to skinny elder woman who was just rude."

"Stop by on our way to Seattle with our brand new baby. The hotel is immaculate. The room was laid out very well, and everything was kept clean. I would highly recommend this hotel. This hotel looks like it's brand new. Even though it's 5 years old, the efforts that it takes to maintain a property and keep it in this shape are greatly appreciated, and I definitely noticed. Good job!"

"This Hotel in good busy location, easy in and out for my work location, Room service is not daily as i expected. also early check out cost $50 even Tho I'm platinum member with IHG. which is first Hotel i ever seen charging penalty for early check out. Also, to expend our stay they want you to make a new reservation, to me it's waste of time doing so. Didn't feel warm welcome by Service Desk."

"The location was decent. Walking distance to several restaurants. Check in was a little slow. The room was clean. The bed was ok a bit soft for me. The water pressure was decent."

"Check in was a bit strange. We arrived around 3:30 and as an IHG Platinum Member I've very rarely had to hang around waiting for a room to be ready. It transpired that the guy on the front desk was really keen to honour my complimentary upgrade so the delay was with the best of intentions. As it happens I would probably have been better of with a standard room at the back of the building as the interstate is very close to the front and was noisy enough to disturb sleep. Everything else was fine. Recommended but ask for a room away from the interstate."
