"I am a local neighbor that comes in almost every week to purchase items. I don’t have a criminal history, I’ve never stolen. I’m a freakin’ mom for christs sake, so maybe I don’t look the best when I come in? I don’t know. But EVERYTIME, literally every time, an employee acts like I’m stealing there. From one employee with blue hair and a Mohawk/fauxhawk who took away an item from me when I accidentally walked into self checkout that is card only and I had cash. She plucked the item from me and then handed it back to me when I got in line to pay for it again… I repeated a few times that I intended to pay with it using cash and explained my mistake. She either didn’t listen or …? And then today I came in with my baby and stroller. I was looking at toothpaste’s and an Asian American woman employee ran up to me and asked if everything was okay. I had not flagged her down. It came out of nowhere. But I’ve worked retail before and know what it’s like to communicate with Loss Prevention in real time and how they ask employees to “assist” someone who they think is stealing on camera. I feel very very very discriminated against and am saddened that this company would treat a female of color this way. Unfortunately although I love the bakery and prior experiences with other locations, I will take my business elsewhere and so should you."
"I'm enraged at this company that cuts the staff working checkout and adds 6 self check-out kiosks so I can provide my time and labor FOR FREE.. In this respect and so many others, you've become just like krogers. Clearly out to milk your customers, not provide a service that rises above their competitors. Additionally prices are not reflected in my free labor. They just keep going up. Call me disgusted."
"This location is okay but by far not the best in Portland as far as selection and parking is absolutely terrible mostly because of the Safeway across the street. Also the Safeway across the street is really stepping up their game and is highly competitive. Their selection prices and quality are just as good if possibly not better than new seasons. So if you're in the area and need to pick? Take a right not left & go to Safeway. You'll be just as pleased with the selection if not more and Incredibly pleased with the pricing. And the employees are just as friendly as new seasons but WITHOUT the extremely narrow Isles, lack of parking, and only moderately friendly staff. I m h o- this location and Sellwood are the least favorable in the city. N. Williams location is the best, 2nd is Division. !"
"They rarely ever have grass-fed beef lately. I can literally get better meat at Fred Meyer. Horrible stocking at this New Seasons has me avoiding it as much as possible, even though I live down the street. Sad."
"Always get help from the staff. They seem to know just when I need help when a grocery associate shows up and asked if I needed help finding anything. There always someone close never actually had to go look for someone. Super clean store. And it's easy to see how everyone love's what they're doing and who they work for. Everyone has a glowing smile when I have had an interaction with them."
