"Took my car to this shop for the last time wanted my heater core fixed and he didn’t put stuff back correctly so my turning signals didn’t work after waiting 3 weeks for him to fix it and he told me a break box needed replaced I paid that and didn’t fix my breaks so all together I paid $1000 to get my heater core replaced AND HE MESSED UP MY TURNING SIGNALS DIDNT WANNA FIX IT UNTIL I FOUGHT TOOTH AND NAIL AND NOW THAT HE DID MY AC IS BROKEN AFTER IT BLEW COLD AF BEFORE TAKING IT TO HIM YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM MY ATTORNEY"

"Fernando is cool. He did what I asked, put in my alternator... But as soon as I got my car back the belt was making a horrible screeching sound, non-stop. I brought my car back and told him about it and he told me since he didn't know the history of the vehicle and since he thought water was dropping on the belt (while my hood was open) that could.be causing it.. I let him know I had this vehicle for over 4 years and I knew the history of it and it had never made that kind of sound before. Ever. He proceeded to tell me that I could go buy a new tensioner and belt and he could put that in, for a price. When I picked my vehicle up from him after he changed the alternator he said everything went fine and it was all good. But now he is saying that it might it be the right belt or the tensioner is bad or one of the pulleys is messed up. I asked him what happened to him saying that everything went fine and everything was all good. He again told me he didn't know the history of the vehicle. Whatever that meant. Overall he quoted me 180 for just labor to put the alternator in as I had purchased a new one myself. He was quick. Under an hour. But he kind of seems like what I've found with most mechanics. They fix something and then something else is all the sudden bad and you gotta em to fix that too When they are most likely the ones that messed up the thing that all the sudden needs fixing now. Job security I guess. Would be nice to be told theses things as soon as I came to pick up the vehicle not 2 days later after he told me it was all good. Honesty would be nice I guess it might be a bit much to ask from .ost mechanics."
