"It was a few years back - I was smacked at my drivers door by a spouse of a Dr.... she had not realized the signal was OFF- my drivers door was creased inward to the point I cold see the sky & the ground ββ and it was a good bruise that pushed me over. Plus complications to the frame of my pickup. BelAir took great care of my pickup for many years - and kept me happy for years to come."
"Horrible experience - they don't deserve even one star! I was treated very badly by a technician at BelAir Auto body and I in no way deserved it! I have been attempting to work with a certain staff member which I shall not name...but would like to! For 3 weeks I have been attempting to get a rather simple repair done to my car. Right rear bumper replaced. When we took the car in for the estimate the BelAir employee voiced that he does not like working with my particular insurance company (which shall also remain unnamed) and proceeded to roll his eyes, grumble and complain. We thought nothing of it at the time because we assume most insurance companies are probably difficult to work with because they never make life easy for any of us. Paperwork is never fun but we all have to do it, right? Fast forward to 3 weeks later... I have done everything I can do from my end to get estimates/general information submitted to my insurer on behalf of the BelAir employee and insurer said they needed one further thing from BelAir, an addendum for the actual part (bumper). Things stalled at this point and the BelAir employee stopped responding/communicating with me. When I spoke with BelAir employee after 3 attempts (he happened to pick up the phone this time so he couldn't avoid me) he became belligerent, said he didn't want to work with my insurer, didn't want my business and hung up on me. If he didn't want to deal with my insurer he could have turned us away the day we arrived (or turned us over to another technician) instead of stringing us along for 3 weeks!!! He wasted my time and treated me rudely when all I was trying to do was give them my business."
"Had a wonderful experience taking my car that had driver side rear quarter panel damage here. During the initial estimate process, they quickly identified that the damage could be removed using a type of liquid. So they did, free of charge! What I imagined would be a long drawn out process spanning multiple days and trips, was only one trip that took a matter of minutes. In summation, if your searching for an auto shop that is all about transparency, personalized customer service, and putting the customers best interest first, look no further. Hopefully will never need to come back, but if I do, it will be here."
