I live out of town and was looking to buy a car here in town from Lot 99, I didn’t trust the salesman on the phone so I had A.R.C automotive take a look over the car for me and I’m very glad I did. The car was a time bomb and would have cost me at least a couple thousand out of the gate in repairs. The tech gave me a very thorough report of their findings over the phone and was very honest. These guys saved me a lot of money and I highly recommend them!"

"Very bad encounter this last visit. Ripped off by him and would NEVER go back. I had work done for about a year and was completely satisfied. Reasonable pricing, good and fast work. I liked him. I had a set of struts that he was going to put in for me. I also developed a coolant leak in a small diameter 10” hose. I purchased the part and figured he could do it when he did the struts. It was a simple job which I could have easily done myself in 20 minutes with some pliers or crescent wrench. He had my car for 2 hours and 10 minutes. The struts were a flat rate 2 hour job. Picked up my car and my bill had $300 labor, 2 hours for the struts, 2 for the hose. Seriously? Two hours in the shop and a $300 labor charge? $150 labor to put the hose in? That to me is really shady and a ripoff ( he advertises a $75 per hour shop rate.). He ripped me off. When I asked him if he felt ok charging me that for the job, he said yes. He lost my business right there. I paid it, and shouldn’t have. Be careful. He screwed me for sure."
