Apex Dental

"Went in for examination and consultation. Sent me to an out-of-network dentist for root canal who wanted to charge 2,175.00 for root canal, examination, and imaging. There are many dentists in Portland. Seems like they only refer patients to West Coast Endontics for root canals, regardless of whether WCD uses a client's insurance or not. Also did not send X-rays over to the new office. They definitely need to tighten up their game in terms of understanding the client's insurance situation and communication."

"They will schedule you months out, confirm your appointment the day before, then lie and say that you called to say you didnt need the work done. This place is a joke. My bone is getting eroded, and theyre playing games because clearly THEY messed up. They could have just admitted it. They also tried to bill my insurance for someone else because they either dont pay attention or are into insurance fraud. Just a mess of an office. Which is sad because the dentist himself is really cool. So now, as my bone in the FRONT of my mouth gets more and more eroded, i get to find a new office and go through the whole process again."

"I came here after being badly treated at another clinic. I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and it was a good experience. Especially because I usually require a higher dose of anesthesia and I was heard when requesting that. The staff was kind also. Would recommend :)"

She talked me through everything they were doing. Dr Ho was even nice. He carefully explained the plan to me and what to expect next. We'll see how the follow up visit goes."
