"This guy is a total scumbag. He teams up with other dentists in town and has them 'fix' your teeth, and then they recommend you to come to him so that he can do a root canal. Rachel Cole DDS is one of his partners. Total loser."
"I was referred to Dr. Edward’s as a first time root canal patient. He came in very quickly, tapped a few teeth to confirm the tooth in question as if the imaging and chart notes from my dentist wasn’t enough. Btw the 5 tooth taps he performed is considered a consultation and is $120. Anywho, he did not let any numbing cream set in and before I knew it he was coming at me with a needle to numb my mouth. I felt the sharpest pain go through my cheek and it scared me. When I told him can you give me a minute he sat there as if he were annoyed, not saying a word. The whole procedure seemed rushed, he didn’t walk me through anything. I had no idea what was going on. Absolutely no bedside manner. And then when he was finished I basically got a “all done” and he rushed out. The staff was alright, the tech seemed a little condescending. Also, side note the parking is a couple block walk to their office. They do not disclose that in their instructions. I will not go back and I would not recommend to anyone else."
"I drove from Salem to Portland to see Dr. Edwards and am so grateful. He and his staff are excellent! They care, they are skilled, and they are honest. I was referred by my Maxillofacial surgeon who had an idea the tooth was too far gone, but wanted to be sure. Dr. Edwards took his time and images needed that other endodontists don't have access to. He gave me the referral to Dr. Jon Robinson in Lake Oswego for the bridge needed after the loss of the front tooth. I have dental PTSD so just walking in an office triggers me but once I met him, I felt safe and was able to relax."
"I highly recommend Dr. Kevin and his staff! I was referred here, after a very traumatic root canal experience. Dr Kevin & staff, were efficient, knowledgeable and very professional! Having dental anxiety, I felt listened to, and was made to feel very comfortable throughout my entire RCT! I have never had such a good dental experience! I hope to not need a root canal anytime soon, however, I will drive the 140 mile round trip, to get the top notch care I received at Edwards Endodontics! Thank You!!"
"I went in for a root canal, they gave me an estimate and did the first part of the procedure. They estimated my insurance would cover 85% of the cost, even if it was an incomplete procedure and non-restorable tooth. In a follow up with my dentist, her ASSISTANT immediately saw the tooth is cracked, non-restorable and needs to be removed. Then I get the bill from Dr. Edwards and my insurance won't cover a dime. His quote was way off, and turned out the work he did was unnecessary since the tooth needed to come out anyway. Also, I have NEVER experienced as much physical pain as I did after the procedure here, was manically pacing around the yard in throbbing pain all evening."
