"What luck-an amazing oasis just off the freeway with incredible food, beautifully decorated clean bathrooms, a wide variety of tasty beers on tap, and the best hospitality one can imagine! We stopped here because our dog Rufus had to use the bathroom and were surprised to find this beautiful oasis tucked into the trees. I will admit that I am a vegetarian, but with three hungry, meat-eating teenagers and a carnivore husband, we just had to order up a couple dozen of.Willamette Valleys finest ribs, pulled pork and all of the fixings! The portions were massive and I haven’t seen my kids gobble up food like that in some time! On our way to the heated, indoor patio, my husband and I stopped at the bar and picked up a couple of strawberry blonds among the dozen other tasty options. Our kids chose to sit in the heated indoor patio tent, but there were also several other designated places to relax, including the gorgeously lit fire-pit which seemed to be the hearth of the space. Presiding over the fire was the wonderful owner Jimmy who immediately made us feel welcome and at home, and sweet and smiling Andy who served up our beers and tended the space with warmth and cheer. I don’t know how we got so lucky to randomly turn off the freeway into this amazing space but you can be sure that we will not only be back but also tell all we know to see for themselves how fantastic this place truly is! P.S. Check out the beautiful bathroom that is tastefully decorated and super clean with hot running water! P.P.S. Be sure to say hi to Charlie, the fun loving, two-year-old Sheepa-doodle who you will surely fall in love with just like we did!"
"Various smoked meats were great, especially crispy pork belly, side dishes okay. Great outdoor setup for adults with various tables, chairs, fire pit, games and football game on TV. Bring a jacket if it’s cooler weather as there is no indoor seating but a nice event style tent. Separate beer/wine bar, “Jimmy’s” special was a favorite."
