"Wow! They have the best pizza here! We eat pizza every week and this is the best pizza we've had since n a long time. Crunchy crispy chewy crust with lots of cheese and the perfect amount of sauce and flavor. We had burgers yesterday and they were equally delicious. You can't go wrong eating here. It's a little rough looking bar, but friendly staff and patrons - well worth it!"
"My husband and I stopped at this place for the first time today, and actually it blew us away! It really did! We got a variety of things, and everything from the pizza to the burger, even the side salad, was amazing! The care put into the presentation (even though our order was to-go) is apparent and I really appreciated the abundance of tomatoes, cucumbers, olives and mushrooms on what I had initially assumed would just be a small side salad (most places aren’t particularly impressive). Like someone else previously stated, there really is something special about their fries. I don’t know what’s going on here but I’ve genuinely never had fries so good. My husband and I have eaten in most of the states, and the food at Salty Dawg was noteworthy to say the least. I don’t understand the few negative reviews this place has, but then again there are few, and there are always going to be “those” people. You would be silly not to try this place if given the opportunity! Lastly, the patio/smoking area didn’t bother us, and this is more of a pub-feel type of place. Anyone leaving a bad review because of patrons smoking is really out of touch, lol. Do better, your grandparents are embarrassed for you."
"Our group came in for burgers and pizza while staying in the neighborhood. I enjoyed my mushroom Swiss burger and our cheese bread. Must get the ranch!"
"I dont know what a cook needs to do to make a person as sick as I am from eating some cheese curds and a burger, but my stomach is as loud as an angry t-rex, feels like one punching me from inside and I had to urgently run to have danger doodoo as well as feel like I want to puke. Too bad because a nice lady feom the KOA down the street recommended the burger as being outstanding. Now instead of nourishing my body with a good meal, I wasted my time and momey so I can spend my camping night running to the bathroom facilities. I NEVER get sick cooking at home and I'm not careful at all about any of the big cooties people talk about. You seriously have to be absolutely disgusting with a total lack of sanitation to do this to someone, or you have it out for them. Boo. The burger was sub par on a huge bun and the cheese curds tasted like they had an entire bottle of garlic powder in them. Im breathing fire in more ways than one. edit: still sick the next day late afternoon. Horseradish from the cheese curd marinara is obvious. Be warned."
